Ponder's Auction Company Online Auction Terms & Conditions

* Large purchases of over $1500 or more, especially for Gold, Autos, Firearms, etc. may require payment by cash, cashier's check or wire transfer only, especially if you are not known to the company or have a low bidder reputation score.

* All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults.

* All descriptions are believed to be accurate but not guaranteed.

* Bidder inspection is encouraged.

* By placing a bid, the bidder signifies they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or have chosen not to personally examine them.

* Buyer's premium of 23.5% is in effect. There is a 3.5% discount if paying by cash or check. Buyer must call or email to request this option or make note of it when registering on Hibid.

* We reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen this auction in the event of a computer system or internet problem, or to pause it until problems are rectified.

* Payments will be automatically charged to the card you have on file with HiBid.com at the close of each auction, unless you have called or emailed to request to be on the Cash Pay list. Cash buyers must pay and pick up their lots on the scheduled pick up dates. If cash buyers fail to pay on the scheduled pick up dates, Cash Pay will be removed and automatically charged to your card on file with Hibid.

* Auction company may bid on behalf of any reserves set by seller though these are limited generally to items of significant value wherein the seller must realize a reasonable return on investment.

*Shipping will be handled by a third-party shipping company, with a list provided below.

*If your bids show as "pending", it means you have a zero or negative reputation feedback score in the HiBid system and you will be unable to participate in this sale without making personal arrangements with management.

*If you may be bidding in excess of $1500.00, you will need to get approval prior to auction starting; that way, your bid will be accepted with no problems.

*If you do not pay for or pick up your items for any reason, you will be blocked from bidding in future sales.

*If purchasing firearms, federal laws will apply and purchases will be Transferred to out of state buyers via FFL dealers. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason. Buyers of firearms need to be prepared to fill out an affidavit as to their legality and submit a copy of their state issued I.D. for our company records only. Company may further restrict purchases beyond the federal laws concerning the purchase of certain firearms, i.e. semi-automatic rifles.

*Late Pickup Policy: All items must be picked up by Wednesday following the auction. Any items left after this date will no longer be the responsibility of Ponders Auctions. We are not liable for any loss or damage to items remaining in our facilities after this deadline. As we begin preparing for the next auction, uncollected items interfere with our operations, are moved multiple times, and may be at risk of damage. If you value your items, please ensure they are picked up on time.
