At Curated Estates, our mission is to thoughtfully market and sell as much as possible for each estate while creating a fair, enjoyable shopping experience. By attending or purchasing from one of our sales, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General Terms
These terms apply to all Curated Estates in-person estate sales and private sales.
2. Sales Philosophy, Pricing & Pre-Sale Policy
Our role is to sell. Every estate is carefully evaluated with the goal of achieving the strongest overall results for our clients.
Pricing Philosophy: All items are extensively researched and priced to sell. Prices reflect market value, condition, and demand.
Curated Estates does not always run designated percentage-off sale days.
If you love an item but feel the price isn’t quite right, we encourage you to speak with a staff member—pricing conversations are welcome.
Bulk purchases may qualify for discounts, at Curated Estates’ discretion.
Pre-Sales: Pre-sales are not permitted on small items or general sale merchandise. These items are available once the sale officially opens.
Select pre-sales may be considered for large furniture, high-value items, or specialty pieces that benefit from broader online exposure and may not sell without it.
All pre-sale decisions are made at the discretion of Curated Estates and based on what best serves the estate as a whole.
3. All Sales Are Final
All items are sold as-is and where-is, with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted. Please inspect items carefully before purchasing.
4. Payment & Sales Tax
Accepted payment methods include cash and credit/debit cards processed via Tap to Pay, Apple Pay, and other digital payments.
Checks are not accepted.
Applicable sales tax will be collected unless the buyer provides a valid resale certificate at the time of purchase.
5. Item Pick-Up & Removal
Buyers are responsible for removing purchased items by the designated pickup deadline.
Items not picked up by the stated time may be forfeited without refund.
Buyers must bring their own packing materials, tools, and labor for heavy, fragile, or bulky items.
6. Liability & Risk
Buyers enter the premises at their own risk. Curated Estates and the property owner are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages.
Responsibility for purchased items transfers to the buyer upon payment.
7. Conduct & Safety
Theft, price manipulation, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the sale, banning from future sales, and/or involvement of authorities.
Children must be supervised at all times.
8. Sale Changes or Cancellation
Curated Estates reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any sale, pricing, or terms without prior notice.
9. Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected (including for invoicing or email lists) will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By attending or purchasing from a Curated Estates sale, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
