All Sales Are Final – No Returns, No Refunds
By participating in our auctions, bidders acknowledge and agree to the following return policy:
1. No Returns Accepted – All items are sold as-is, where-is, and all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for any reason.
2. Item Descriptions & Condition – We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph items. However, it is the buyer’s responsibility to review all descriptions, images, and condition reports before placing a bid.
3. No Buyer’s Remorse or Cancellations – Bids cannot be canceled or retracted. Failure to fully read an item’s description, misinterpretation of images, or a change of mind does not qualify for a return or refund.
4. Authenticity & Attribution – While we strive for accuracy, all statements regarding age, origin, or condition are opinions and not guarantees. Buyers must conduct their own research prior to bidding. All property is sold as is and neither the auctioneer no any consignor makes any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness nor deemed to have made any representation of warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability.
5. Third-Party Authentication – If an item requires authentication, it must be arranged by the buyer before bidding. Post-sale authentication disputes will not be grounds for a return or refund.
6. Damage During Shipping – All shipments are insured. If an item is lost or damaged in transit, buyers must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier or LiveShip. We are not responsible for shipping-related damages or losses.
By placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Failure to comply does not constitute grounds for a refund, return, or dispute.
7. All auction items will be shipped from SJS Estate & Coin directly to the buyer. No in-person pick up or preview of any items will be available at any time.
