Born Donna Mae Tjaden on September 16, 1922, Paige first captured hearts during World War II with her spirited performances at the Hollywood Canteen. Her talent quickly caught the attention of a Warner Bros. scout, launching a career that would flourish during Hollywood’s Golden Age.
She lit up the silver screen in classics like “Romance on the High Seas” (1948) opposite Doris Day, and “Silk Stockings” (1957) alongside Fred Astaire. On Broadway, Paige made history by originating the role of Babe Williams in the Tony Award-winning musical “The Pajama Game” (1954). Her stage stardom continued as she stepped into the iconic role of Mame in 1968.
Television fans fondly remember her charismatic presence in guest roles on “All in the Family”, “Trapper John, M.D.”, and as the memorable Auntie V on “Eight Is Enough”.
This exclusive estate sale is more than a sale—it’s an invitation to own a piece of Hollywood history. From glittering stage-worn jewelry to cherished personal furnishings, every item reflects Paige’s impeccable style, artistic legacy, and enduring charm.
