Attention all Gear-heads, Car lovers, Electronic Nerds, and builders and lovers of tools! Have I got a sale for you! In Huntington Beach!!

I know you are used to my sales that tend to have an “abundance of stuff”, but here is one that tops the charts! Yes, the “H” word. And as a note, on-line resellers will love this sale. This time it is a car lovers dream. Focus on Porsche, Volkswagen, and Karmann Ghias-then there’s Fords too! Cars to restore and to part out. It is very difficult to describe just how much stuff there is. You should come because you have to see it to believe it. There are parts for restoration, actual pieces of cars and every sort of odd-ball belt, hose, gasket, fuse, trim piece, filters, light, lens, and so, so much more. There are engine blocks, carburetors, intake and exhaust manifolds, camshafts, distributers, radiators, pistons, cooling fans and all the little pieces you need to put it and hold your car together. There is not just a nice variety, there are 1000s of pieces. There are new-in-box pieces and used vintage/original pieces. All years and ages. Again focus on VW products and Ford. It’s like a car swap meet. OH! And the tire and rim “lot”. So many! My understanding is the gent bought anything he thought was a good deal, whether he needed it or not. Anything you can think of-need I go on?

There are the cars themselves. 3 Volkswagen buses, 4 Ford Probes and 3 Ford Taurus’ with SHO engines and a Mazda. The crown right now is a 1971 Karmann Ghia. Yes, 12 cars! HOW? you may ask can 12 cars fit on a lot in HB? Well the lot is deceptively large. Biggest lot I’ve seen in HB. Good thing too, with tens of thousands of things in this “collection”. Various conditions from rust buckets to just needs “this or that”. All project cars for the one who dares to take them on. Also, 3 SHO engines, free-standing and ready for you to fix up and put in your next project car. 3 vintage dirt bikes (Honda, Yamaha)-need love! A super cute vintage tent trailor. Has all the important “stuff” inside and is actually in very nice condition(inside). Outside needs some work and it need new tires before it will roll. Burden of usability will be on you! I have no idea what these need and the gent is not around to ask. There are various Machines and tools and large gismos that anyone doing serious car work, would need. I am reserving the right to sell the cars ahead of the sale days so if you need to see them, please ask and we can set something up.

Well that brings us to the electronics. The gent was an engineer for Douglas\Boeing. Brilliant guy! Could fix anything. When I say anything, I mean anything! Which is why there are HUNDREDS of panels, meters, probes, motors, and machines that fix, measure and test any electronic that you can think of. Some of these are so specialized that most people haven’t a clue what they are for-I know I’ve never seen or heard of most of these. Remember to think “Boeing Engineer”. In addition to all this specialty equipment, there are computers and computer parts galore-circuit boards, wire, replacement parts, etc. More that anyone would ever need, unless you build or repair them(which he did!)

That brings us to the wire and cable room. Yes a room with a stunning amount of cable and wires. I’m talking spools and boxes. Electronic wire, car wires, underground wire-so much both new and used. Also vintage camping items and misc stuff(like brand new car seats) that need a place to go. There, as expected, are many random, specialty items here related to cars, machining and more.

A closet full of vintage men’s clothes and jackets, dating back to the 70s. Tons of VHS, DVD, cassettes, vintage magazines. There is some lovely antique bedroom furniture and several vintage bedroom pieces. Side tables, 2 dressers, bed frame and vintage lamps and more. Actually, several little side tables and lamps throughout the house. There is a very respectable amount of fishing lures and poles and reels. All vintage and the stuff that goes with fishing. The “office” has loads more electronics-were sort of focusing stereo items here but there is more than that. More specialty electronics speakers and more. The usual “office” stuff but think vintage. A wall of vintage books and manuals. The kitchen is supplied with what he needed to cook a dinner and some stuff left from when the Mrs. was there but this wasn’t a ladies home. Pots and pans, baking supplies and dinnerware with misc drinkware and some nice stemware. Lots of electric kitchen gadgets-I think because he liked electronics….

TOOLS! This probably the most “tool heavy” sale I have ever done. Not only are there standard hand and power tools-drills, sanders, dremels, saws, hammers, drivers and etc but specialty tools. Micrometers, test gauges, specialty pliers and more. All for repairing, rebuilding and fabricating parts for said cars and electronics. So yes! Industrial lathes, drill presses grinders, saws and all the stuff that goes with them. There is an amazing collection of High Speed Drill bits. Between these and the regular drill bits, I’ll go out on a limb and say there are well over 1000. A bunch of High Speed Saw blades and tons of regular and diamond blades. Tools for normal home maintenance but most all special pieces that you don’t see every day, in every garage. The other huge collection is paint guns and I don’t mean “paint ball guns”. I am told he loved paint guns so the collection is large! There are vintage retro shop pieces and items with the old advertising logos and cool stuff like that. Items for working on cars that most home mechanics don’t have-only shops.

There is soooooooo much I’m forgetting at the writing of this ad. Guys and anyone who’s a “fixer” or mechanic needs to come check this out. Resellers have so much to choose from here. Tight quarters, so enter at your own risk and don't wear your "Sunday best"! Depending on how thins go on Friday and Saturday, I may have to have an additional day to clear more stuff. There are thousands and thousands of items here and while I'm giving it my best shot, I am not going to be able to get every single thing priced. We will go half-price on Saturday. I definitely have not gone through every single thing, even after 6 weeks!, but I believe there are some interesting things for you car-lovers and electronic lovers!!! I will endeavor to price as much as I can but will need your patience for the things that get missed. When you see this, you will see why things will be missed!! One more time, be patient!
