Beautiful things deserve another chapter

After many wonderful years of collecting, decorating and creating a home filled with pieces I love, I have decided it is time to let some of my treasured antiques begin a new chapter.

My Malibu home has always been inspired by the romance of an old-world Mediterranean estate—terraced stone gardens, palms and cypress, climbing vines, tiled stairways and sun-filled balconies overlooking the surrounding hills. Inside, I filled the rooms over the years with antique furniture, mirrors, lighting and decorative pieces that felt as though they belonged to the architecture and spirit of the property.

These pieces were never simply furnishings to me. Each was chosen because of its beauty, craftsmanship, history and character, and together they helped make this house a home.

As I begin to simplify and make changes, I am ready to part with a selection of these antiques. It is bittersweet, but I love the thought of them finding new homes where they will be appreciated, enjoyed and perhaps eventually passed on again.

1. Antique French Louis XV–Style Carved Walnut Mirrored Armoire 8 ft x 4 ft Impressive antique French-style armoire featuring an elaborately carved Rococo crest, graceful serpentine crown and richly carved floral and foliate ornamentation. Two full-length mirrored doors are framed by shaped carved moldings and retain ornate decorative hardware. The cabinet rests on beautifully carved cabriole-style feet with scrolling detail.

The warm walnut-toned finish displays an attractive aged patina, emphasizing the depth of the carving and architectural quality of the piece. A dramatic statement armoire suitable for a bedroom, dressing room or sophisticated European-inspired interior. Estimated period: circa 1880–1920

5. 6ft x 4 ft large carved oak Renaissance Revival / Jacobean-style open bookcase or display cabinet, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (approximately 1880–1920)

Impressive matching pair of 32-inch-tall decorative floor/table candlesticks in an Old World European style. Each features a beautifully turned and carved baluster-form column with acanthus and foliate detailing, resting on an elaborate three-footed scrolling base with shell-inspired carving.

10. Ornate Gilt Console Table & Mirror Set – European Baroque/Rococo Style with a strong French/Italian Baroque or Rococo Revival influence. I would sell them as a set if possible.

11. Antique French Renaissance Revival Carved Walnut Cabinet / Buffet with Marble Top Striking late-19th-century French Renaissance Revival cabinet in richly toned walnut, showcasing exceptional hand-carved architectural detail throughout. This impressive two-piece cabinet consists of a top hutch measuring 58” tall x 52” wide and a lower cabinet measuring 41” tall x 52” wide, creating a substantial and commanding presence when assembled. The upper section features ornate carved columns, finials, scrolling foliage, classical motifs, and a central carved panel, with one door fitted with amber-toned textured decorative glass. The lower cabinet continues the elaborate craftsmanship with deeply carved panels, turned and fluted supports, decorative brass hardware, and distinctive carved animal-head accents. A richly veined marble top separates the tiers, enhancing its refined and luxurious character. An open lower shelf and tall architectural proportions give the piece impressive scale, while the warm aged walnut patina and original-style brass hardware complete its authentic antique appeal. 12. Pair of Gothic Revival Throne Chairs Striking matching pair of Gothic Revival–style throne chairs featuring tall carved wood backs with pointed arches, pierced tracery, and decorative finials. Upholstered in rich red and gold damask fabric, these dramatic statement chairs bring a bold medieval-inspired look to any space. Perfect for an entryway, fireplace setting, library, or formal interior. Condition: Very good vintage/antique condition with normal age wear.

13. Large Spanish Revival Carved Wood Buffet / Sideboard Impressive Spanish Revival / Mediterranean-style solid wood buffet or sideboard featuring four beautifully paneled cabinet doors with dramatic dimensional geometric carving. The substantial case is accented by turned side columns, paneled drawers, decorative metal ring pulls and ornate cabinet hardware, giving the piece a wonderful Old World European character. Four upper drawers provide convenient storage, while the spacious lower cabinets offer ample room for dinnerware, linens, serving pieces or barware. The warm natural wood finish highlights the grain and craftsmanship beautifully. A striking statement piece for a dining room, great room, entry or Spanish, Mediterranean, Tuscan or European-inspired interior.
