The auction is led by California artists Elmer Wachtel, Marion Kavanagh Wachtel, Mabel Alvarez, Edgar Payne, Alson Skinner Clark and Thomas Hill, and features American works by Birger Sandzen, Robert Spencer, Cornelius David Krieghoff and Henry Gasser. A fine selection of etchings, some very rare, by Armin Carl Hansen round out the offerings.
