1. Participation & Entry
This is an in-person estate sale only.
No CTBIDS or online registration is required.
Caring Transitions of San Diego East (“Caring Transitions,” “we,” “us”) reserves the right to refuse service or remove any person from the premises at our discretion.
2. Pricing & Sales
All items are offered AS IS, WHERE IS with all faults and defects, known and unknown.
All prices are as marked unless otherwise stated by staff.
Some items may be grouped and sold as a lot; purchasing a lot means purchasing the entire grouping, not individual items within the lot.
All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits for any reason, including but not limited to condition, size, color, fit, functionality, or compatibility.
3. Payment – On-Site Only
Payment must be rendered in full on site at the time of purchase, before removing any item from the property.
Accepted forms of payment will be posted at the sale (e.g., cash, major credit/debit cards, or other methods as available at that event).
You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen payment method is valid and has sufficient funds or credit available.
Prices do not include any applicable sales tax; tax will be added at checkout as required by law.
4. Item Condition & Inspection
All items are used (unless expressly marked otherwise) and may show signs of wear, age, or defect.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect items before paying.
Caring Transitions makes no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Pick-Up, Removal & Loading
Buyer is solely responsible for all packing, lifting, carrying, and loading of purchased items.
You must bring your own help, equipment, tools, and appropriate vehicle for removal of items (including dollies, straps, blankets, boxes, etc.).
Staff is not authorized or permitted to assist with lifting, carrying, or loading due to safety and liability reasons.
All items must be removed from the property by the end of the sale day, unless specific alternate arrangements are made in advance with Caring Transitions.
Any damage to the property caused during removal of items is the responsibility of the buyer.
6. No Shipping or Delivery
No shipping, delivery, or third-party transport is being offered for this sale.
All purchases are pick-up only at the sale location.
Buyers must be present in person (or send their own representative) to pay for and remove items.
7. Holds, Unclaimed Items & Abandonment
“Holding” items without payment is at the sole discretion of Caring Transitions staff and may be limited or not allowed during busy periods.
Any item that has not been paid for and removed by the agreed-upon time will be considered abandoned.
Abandoned items may be resold, donated, or disposed of at our sole discretion, with no refund or credit to the buyer.
8. Limitation of Liability
You enter the property and participate in the sale at your own risk.
Caring Transitions, the property owner, and their agents are not responsible for accidents, injuries, damage, or loss of any kind that may occur on or around the premises or during the loading/transport of items.
Children must be supervised at all times.
