Description & Details

Saturday-Sunday, September 20–21, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Tucked inside a charming, wooded pocket of Woodland Hills, this large home is packed with character—and the kind of finds you don’t see every day. From shelves of out-of-print art books, comic-related titles, and first editions to antique furniture, stylish bed frames, eclectic art, collectibles, signature one-of-a-kind antique signage, and a show-stopping antique merry-go-round horse, this is a two-day treasure hunt you won’t want to miss.

Please read our Terms & Conditions as well.  There are some parking restrictions in the neighborhood and we want to make sure both customers and local residents have a positive experience from this sales event.  It'll be worth it, we promise!

Follow Nostalgia Estate Sales for photo updates and featured item spotlights as we start to stage the home. See you in the woods!

*************** September 15 Update ***************

This first day of staging did not disappoint! We're unearthing a massive amount of art, china, barware, cookware, stereo equipment, electronics, furniture, decor, toys, collectibles, and books of all sorts... If you're a lover of books of any kind, we got `em! Art books, photography books, coffee table books, classic literature, mystery novels, spy novels, pulp novels, vintage how-to books, film & TV books, books about comic books, books about comic strip illustrators, and travel ephemera... lots of surprises and affordable prices too!  Check the pictures daily for new discoveries as we lead up to our two-day weekend sale.

**************** September 16 Update ***************

Did we mention we have books? There are at least 5 different rooms loaded with books.  Check out the new pictures for a sampling of the latest titles that we've uncovered. Don't miss the small, but mighty collection of records too!  Vinyl and Shellac.  7" 45s, 10" 78s and 12" 33 1/3s.  There's some CDs and Cassette tapes to go along with your Sony Discman and Panasonic Boombox too... We even have a 8-track player/receiver for sale (Sorry, no sign of the 8-track tapes yet!). Most of the Shellac 78s are album bound reprints from the 1940-1950s, there's a very wide range of 45s from Bob Dylan to Bobby Darin with a few surprises.  Most of the 12" LPs are classic rock from the 60s, including the largest collection of Cheryl Sarkisian and Salvatore Bono  I've ever come across...and the beat goes on.

**************** September 17 Update ****************

Onwards to the Artist Studio! Excelsior! You could command a small publishing empire from this room... Office furniture, drafting tools, sturdy tables to pile your manuscripts on, and a very slice-y paper cutter to admire from a safe distance. We're finding more books (quelle suprise) and lots of fun comic book ephemera (old comic-con and international program guides, vintage comic book journal newsletters, etc.).  While you're on this side of the house, you can admire the vintage wrought iron patio set from across the pool.  I bet they'd look nice next to your pool too!  Meanwhile, the Cecil lamp now has a Beany lampshade and if you don't know what that means, go do a search of the classic Bob Clampett cartoon on YouTube, it's truly a surreal masterpiece of animation that you won't soon forget.  We also have new and improved pictures of the Eastlake Fireplace Mantle, reunited with its frontpiece screen, and new images showcasing the 3 piece Antique Burlwood Bedroom set with bentwood cane features in the Maid's bedroom off the kitchen/laundry room section of the house.

**************** September 17 Update ****************

Last update! We also have several large appliances for sale: Whirlpool, super capacity, commercial quality top loading washer, Amana Designer Series front loading dryer, Admiral Designer Series French Door style refridgerator, Like new Electrolux Icon Series Fridge, multiple vacuum cleaners, and a massive Montgomery Ward 1.5 Microwave Oven, built like a tank and works like a charm. Please remember to park at the bottom of the hill (it's not that steep and only 3 houses up).  Plenty of parking in the cul-de-sac and along Queen Victoria Road.  Looking forward to a great weekend! Thank you!!
