A wonderful private collection of original fine art featuring works by Carolyn Cole, Itzchak Tarkay, Trine Bumiller, Kim English, Mary Jane Schmidt and Marilyn Yanke.

The collection includes large-scale original acrylic and oil paintings, signed works, and a signed and numbered Itzchak Tarkay serigraph, with several striking statement pieces measuring four to six feet.

An especially important feature of this collection is its documentation: the first eight fine-art lots retain their original gallery purchase receipts, providing valuable purchase history and supporting identification of the artists and works.

Highlights include two vibrant original paintings by Carolyn Cole, a large abstract floral by Mary Jane Schmidt, Itzchak Tarkay's “In the Garden” signed and numbered serigraph, a dramatic 72" Trine Bumiller canvas, original cityscape paintings by Kim English, and Marilyn Yanke's “Announcement of Spring.”

The auction is rounded out by a small selection of African Kuba textiles and other collected decorative and cultural works, including a documented Papua New Guinea gable mask.
