Removal Details to Know

Adams DOES NOT offer removal services or delivery services for hire. If you do not feel confident in moving your own items, please make your arrangements ahead of time to hire movers. If you do not feel confident moving items and you have no way to do so, do not bid. Adams WILL have someone strong on site to assist with unforeseen difficulty ONLY.

Adams Auctions LLC representative leaves the location at the published time. Please arrange to pick up items in a timely fashion. If you arrive past the published time, you will be charged an additional $50 per hour to your invoice to pay for the staff waiting for you on site, which will be billed on the quarter hour. Additionally, if you arrive past the published time, there is no guarantee that an Adams team member will be able to wait for you. If you request an additional removal day, the fee for this alternate day is $150 for the first hour, and $75 per hour thereafter. You will be required to bring this payment in cash. This aforementioned additional day must be agreed upon by Adams Auctions LLC and their partners prior to the close of the auction.

Adams partners and staff are not required to assist in any removal of customer purchases whatsoever for purposes of liability. Please come prepared with tie-downs, tools, your own assistance in lifting, work gloves, dollies, ladders, hand trucks, etc. If any person assists you in removing your items, even a fellow winning bidder, it is courteous and customary to tip this individual. Be prepared to uninstall your items if it appears to be installed in the listing pictures. Please also note that you might have to wait to remove your item if there is an item in the way. This is not a warehouse setting - this is a residence.

Please note that there is not always power, water, or a restroom in any building that may be subject to an auction removal. Any items needed for removal should be battery powered. In this particular auction, there is NOT a restroom OR WATER on site available to winning bidders. There is not a fork lift on site, please be prepared to remove your items. Park on the street on removal day. There are stairs to the upper main living areas of the house, and your items will need to come down these stairs.
