She, the seller, lived in this home for 69 years and made quilts, jewelry, cards and clothes. There are 10 gorgeous quilts she made over the last 30 years, 200 pounds of quilt shop fabric @ $2/yard, plus 50 quilting books, rulers, scissors, 500 spools of thread and notions galore. Clothing patterns from the 1960s-70s. A pristine Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine from 1950 runs smooth and a Singer 20 machine from 1910. A Bernina embroidery module for a 700 series sewing machine plus 50 electronic patterns for Embroidery machines.
She was also a world traveler for 40+ years. There are many hand carved wooden pieces of art from Africa, plus nesting dolls from Russia, plus art from Portugal, Italy, Costa Rica, Brazil, and many other countries.
There are over 200 pieces of jewelry, most $2-$4. Some sterling jewelry. Leaded glass jewelry boxes. She was a clothes and shoes fanatic with her favorite stores being Lands End & LL Bean. Clothes are $2. Shoes $4, purses $4. There are many games including Florida Monopoly, a ton of jig-saw puzzles $2, a Radio Flyer wagon, a Shark vacuum.
A 12 place setting of Noritake china, crystal, a dozen Whiting and Davis evening bags, 200 books, 200 movies on DVD, 20 pieces of Fitz and Floyd Christmas collectibles, antique ornaments, Spode collectibles still in box. A prelit Christmas tree that has only been used once. Three nativity scenes! One from Russia, one from Africa.
She was a competitive swimmer for 40+ years. There are a dozen fins still in box plus Speedo racing goggles & swim caps never used. Hiking packs from LL Bean and others.
You will also find a nice patio set with glass table and 4 chairs, a child’s antique rocking chair made in Massachusetts, many small wooden end tables, a lovely corner 4 shelf piece, a nice stamp collection, an amazing badge collection, War medals of honor.
Electronics include two tested Canon Pixma copier/photo printer/scanner, a shredder, a desktop computer, keyboard, track mouse, speakers, speakers w/ subwoofer, and several 35mm cameras/lenses, strobe flash.
Come and plan to stay awhile as there is much to see. She is still alive and quilting, now in an assisted living facility.
