Petrus Regout (1801 - 1878) founded glassworks and potteries in Maastricht in 1834, becoming  one of the most important Dutch industrialists. Coveted George Perez (1954 - 2022)  portfolio of 1989/90 comic book covers and extra illustrations published by DC Comics in 1990.  Portfolio contains twelve black and white plates, nine showcasing work for The New Titans and Batman.  Plates #10, #11 and #12 introduce artwork created specifically for the collection.  An introduction by Batman writer Denny O’Neil appears on the back cover.  Although the portfolio cover is worn, the plates are in excellent condition.  Each measures 15.5”H x 10” W.  Sold as a complete set.  From the collection of an architect:  a suite of six ready-to-hang Ansel Adams photographs, each framed like the one in the center which is entitled ”Winter Sunrise, the Sierra Nevada from Lone Pine California, 1944." Reich, born in Prague and schooled at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, is a contemporary, abstract artist who resides in Sarasota. Her works burst with color.  This print has a quote written in Czech beside the signature that says "Barva je Život" which translates to "Color is Life."  Signed by the artist and inscribed: "To Olivia and Salko Love…A.D. Rare, early watercolor signed by noted beloved local artist Barbara McCann/Schultz (1948 - 2011); 14"H x 18" W.  McCann studied under renowned painter Marilyn Bendell (1921 - 2003) who lived on Longboat Key and established a school on Cortez Road in Bradenton.  From McCann’s obituary:  "Born February 26, 1948 in New Castle, Pa. she moved to Bradenton in 1973 where she ran her own art and design studio. She also taught at Ringling College of Art and Design [1982 - 1993]. "  McCann worked in many styles early on and exhibited watercolors in the mid-1970’s.  At the time of her death, she was married to fellow artist Bill Moden.  Two watercolors by Julie Trigg, beloved long-time Sarasota artist and former member of the 1953-established Petticoat Painters, "one of the oldest continuously exhibiting women's art groups in the U.S," per their website; seagrass painting: 16”H x 20”W; inlet/bay painting: 11”H x 31”WWe have another large giclée entitled "Summer Solstice" by former Longboat sculptor and fine artist Ed "Eddie" Miracle (b. 1941).
