Integrity Estate Sales is proud to present the estate sale of the Phipps family, a fine and historically notable family that have resided in America since distant ancestors came to the new land on the Mayflower. There are lots of unique treasures, some high end items as well, plenty for everyone!
To begin we will be offering a beautiful original Sandy Proctor life-size bronze of a little girl listening to the sea through a conk shell, finely detailed, an amazing piece by a masterful artist, also! There is a very unusual cast iron sculpture of a tree trunk cut off, with a chopped top section laying horizontallyon top of the stump. Next we have a small carved stone bird by the last Ralph Hurst of a beautiful multi-colored alabaster! There are quite a number of signed art pottery pieces by many potters including several pieces by Paul and Ginny Anthony! In addition there is also a nice selection of framed watercolors, drawings and other artwork by a number of talented artists!
There are many fine antique items including but not limited to an elegant pair of ruby/clear Waterford glasses, fine china, an amazing Hawks cut crystal pitcher, several vintage pieces of cut crystal including American brilliant, a Hedren bunny rabbit pair, several ornate pieces of silverplate and a good number of antique books and cookbooks. We're offering several pieces from Tiffany & Co., quite a few Spode items and many other fine items.
There are quite a few very nice pieces of furniture, a luxurious queen sleigh bed, a striking pair of twin beds, as well as 2 day beds and a single, a number of antique tables and chairs, a very old wooden rocker, upholstered easy chairs and wooden, 3 coffee table, 2 beautiful antique dressers, a very attractive wine refrigerator, 2 vintage chaise lounges, and a 1939 Worlds Fair cane/stool! We have several chests, trunks and 3 Korean War era footlockers along with a selection of very nice conditioned army iniforms, a batch of badges and 2 officers hats.
There are several plush toys among which I found 10 Steiff animals in great condition! There are 3 different vintage toy train sets, several 1940s Lionel engine, cars, and other accessories in their original boxes in Mint condition and 2 entirely different sets of train cars and parts as well as a track on a table with several miniature structures. There are 2 very nice antique crocks, one 6 gallon in great condition, no chips or cracks which is uncommon! Theee are 100 year old dolls and some almost as old, lots of vintage childrens books, some vintage toys, paper dolls and more!
The kitchen is filled with goodies as well! A large Lenox set of dinnerware, several Spode plates and platters, cut crystal glasses, a large selection of orange Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware, a set of 4 stag handled steak knives from Sheffield England, a stag-tip ended swagger stick, and much more!
