Get ready for pink! From dishware to art and jewelry and all sorts of fun gift items. An odd artist-made flamingo piece for Southwest Airlines..We love this vintage flamingo lamp! Those are hangers, just below it..Those are lawn flamingoes that light up! They work…I like that shell art in the window, very classy…And the bright and cheery table floral/candle piece under the table…The turkey feather display hangs above neon pink! One of my favorite vintage gold mirrors is above that old TV.Yep…that’s a cast iron antique gator on the table:) And those fabulous waterfowl hand carved of large bamboo roots! Vintage bread bowl, antique cast iron doorbell fish! Imagine that:)One of several hunting/outdoor statuesI love this color! When I’m done with the sale, I want to find an ocean that has that blue color, preferably in another country! Oh, that little wooden shelf? It’s adorable and vintage. Lamp is also a favorite..This angel up in glorious arms sporting fabulous vintage ornaments goes out to my bestest ever partner, Tracy…can’t do these sales without her, and neither would I want toBitty bitty llama!Another soothing color that we take for granted… Gorgeous green.. that is a beautiful hand, finished piece of wood on a stand on the top shelfSeveral pretty Stained glass pieces hanging in the windowsAnd all the brilliant blues and greens together…I made this weird little ‘zen’ garden with ball bearings from the garage :-) I like it!There’s always enough stuff to do a black-and-white display with and here there is a neat variety of items. Love the little zebra planter… In fact, all the sweet planters that we found are intact. None of the vintage ones have cracks! That includes that little kitty cat there :-)You will see a lot of vintage metal car decals around. This is one of my favorites..New Yorker!Metal heads will love! Pewter is having a resurgence, and when it’s made into ocean themed items they are even more popular. I happen to love these strange giant pinecone acorns, although Christy and Tracy turned their noses up at them :-)Our fella that we are celebrating for this sale was a super car guy and was into the Chrysler 300 and 500 cars. You will see plenty of auto/train/farm vehicle stuff aroundStarted this little corner display before I left the house today. There are some cool vintage tools tucked in here with the fish plates. Jewelry will be all over the house! Our fella was into martinis and had quite a few bar items in both of the kitchens that are in this house. This is just a small display, showcasing some of the items. That’s a collectible martini glass light on the top shelf!Cute artist made King & Queen mosaic tiles that were in the primary room;)Now, before anybody gets their feathers in a fluff, these are beautiful taxidermy ducks that somebody will love. They were very, very well kept and I have enjoyed staging with them. Mom and Pop mallards! These children need a home! Fantastic frames… These kids go back a few generations in the family here. Oh, and wondering if anybody can guess what that plaid metal thing is on the table;) Super old copper pieces and a GREAT pair of vintage Red Wing boots. If they were my size, you would not be seeing them in this display…Of course I love the old metal fish, but my favorite is the vintage catchers mask! We have some great furniture too, and this is a sweet, small gentleman‘s dresserMickey!! This is an old Disneyland blanket very well kept. A couple of these smaller Persian rugs are around the house. I like the small sizeIn case you missed the first photo :-) Papa Mallard here giving you the RedEye. Haha! This ornamental pomegranate is sitting a top an odd glass item that we have not been able to figure out where it comes from. Maybe one of you guys will know…My goodness! Somebody give me a damn Guinness! (that tiny red dress with the kitten on it is the most adorable thing!)Aha! Car parts! These were brand new oil lanterns in boxes..and tiny cars! One of the first items that caught my eye when I walked in this house for assessment was that fabulous Route 66 hardback poster. I still love it and like to be in the same room with it. Don’t let the little baby dolls scare you :-)OK so we have limited clothing, but there are some fun vintage men’s things here… And I’m talking some 70s polyester shirts. Especially a red one that I would wear in a heartbeat. This is what I call my variety room, so there are odds and ends and colorful things. Plus, there are cats over there in the corner :-)There’s the cat items… And, that is a Chihuly umbrella brand new that I hung from the ceiling. You can pay an arm for it at a museum or just a couple of fingers for it here :-)OK! We have two sets of dishes and we all know how we feel about dishes at a sale, but these are real fine blue and white and you can break it up into sets of 2, 4, 6 or whatever…More stuff has been added to this yellow display, namely, Lala, the Teletubby gal! I like walking by this room and punching her in the stomach so she giggles and make some weird noises :-) I’ll switch the photo out soon with her in it OMG! The fella has a ton of these adorable tiny Ford Times magazines that I have been taking home and reading because they are just fabulous! A few from the 1940s, more in the 50s and a couple in the 60s but super art work and graphics, interesting articles on travel, recipes from restaurants and overall just a very sweet read… maybe I will keep them all for myself! This photo doesn’t do that Cypress knee lamp justice… I’m continuing to add to this displayOK, so this room is the second kitchen and there’s all kinds of stuff in here. This is just one corner… I do like that cheerful hibiscus watercolor AND that odd painting on the top shelfOK, Tracy knows how I feel about the Christmas stuff :-) but, I have to say there are some pretty cool ornaments that would make a great gifts and additions to your own holiday room. There are three more walls to look at!Oh yea…the original DudeJames Bond and Ian Fleming lovers… Here you go… It’s a nice little set. You should read about Ian Fleming being a British spy before you read these books. He was quite the popular guy in DC, invited to all the social events with the Americans while secretly phoning back to the Brits with all the gossip;)Games! This is a fabulous and unique cover. This game was the inspiration for Parcheesi.Does anybody smoke anymore?? This shelf held jars and jars of screws and nuts and all that stuff that guys like to collect in the garage :-) I cleaned it
