Terms & Conditions
These Conditions of Sale constitute the entire agreement between A.B. Levy’s (A.B.L.), the consignor, and the buyer for all property offered at auction. By bidding, buyers agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Property Sold "As Is"
All property is offered and sold as is, without any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to description, authenticity, condition, provenance, or value. Prospective buyers are solely responsible for inspecting property prior to bidding.
2. Authenticity Guarantee
In the event that a lot is proven to be counterfeit within 30 days of the sale, A.B.L. will refund the purchase price, provided written notice is given within that period and supported by notarized statements from two recognized experts.
3. Buyer’s Premium
A buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price:
25% on the first $1,000,000
20% on any amount above $1,000,000
4. Reserves
Lots may be subject to a reserve (minimum price) not exceeding the low estimate. The auctioneer may execute bids on behalf of the consignor up to the amount of the reserve.
5. Bidding & Auctioneer’s Discretion
The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid, withdraw any lot, resolve disputes, and reoffer property at their sole discretion. Absentee and phone bids are accepted as a convenience but A.B.L. is not liable for any errors or omissions. The auctioneer’s records shall be conclusive.
6. Title & Payment
Title passes to the highest bidder when acknowledged by the auctioneer. Payment is due in full within 7 days of the sale. Property must be removed within 14 business days. Late payments will accrue interest at 1% per month.
7. Default
In the event of non-payment, A.B.L. may retain any deposits, resell the property, and hold the buyer liable for all resulting losses, costs, and damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. A security interest is retained in the purchased property until full payment is received.
8. Sales Tax
Applicable state sales tax will be added to the purchase price unless a valid resale certificate is presented at the time of payment.
9. Shipping & Handling
All shipping, packing, and handling are at the buyer’s sole expense and risk. A.B.L. assumes no responsibility for damage or loss, including to frames or glass.
10. Accepted Payment Methods
A.B.L. accepts the following forms of payment:
Cash (up to $10,000)
Personal check, money order, or cashier’s check
Wire transfer
In-person credit cards (maximum $10,000)
All funds must clear before purchases are released.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Buyers consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Florida state and federal courts.

Description & Details
End of Summer Estate Auction
A.B. Levy’s is pleased to present its End of Summer Estate Auction, featuring 136 diverse and conservatively estimated lots drawn from distinguished private collections.
Highlights include a fine group of Hermès designer scarves, all from a private Palm Beach collection, with many rare examples no longer in production. The auction also offers a varied selection of impressive silver plate table and barware, amongst them are a set of twelve vintage Sheffield punch cups and a Gorham silver soldered pitcher in the desirable Medallion pattern re-plated by Tiffany & Co. and once engraved for the renowned Shakespeare Club.
The fine art offerings encompass Parisian cityscapes, American portraiture, and Impressionist-inspired subjects. Of particular note are two important Haitian works: a 1968 painting by Clestin Faustin depicting uniformed officers at a conference table, and a vivid harbor scene alive with color by Philton Latortue.
The decorative arts section is equally compelling, highlighted by a Japanese Imari porcelain bowl richly painted with foliate blossoms; a pair of Qing dynasty cloisonné enamel duck-form boxes in archaic style; a painted Neoclassical style bookcase cabinet; and an imposing wrought-iron chandelier that provides a dramatic conclusion to the sale.
