Certified Estate Auctions, Inc. maintains full discretionary rights over auction proceedings, including the authority to refuse individual admission and participation, reject bids at any time, and withdraw lots from auction without prior notice. All auction proceedings may be recorded for audio and video documentation to ensure security protocols and quality assurance standards are maintained.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Registration to participate in Certified Estate Auctions, Inc. events constitutes full agreement to all terms and conditions outlined herein. The auction house reserves the right to request and retain copies of valid driver’s licenses and credit cards for verification purposes.
PRE-AUTHORIZATION POLICY
For phone and absentee bidding participants, Certified Estate Auctions, Inc. is authorized to process up to 20% of the low estimate for all requested lots. Additionally, the company reserves the right to charge registered credit cards for full invoice amounts if payment is not received within 10 business days of invoice delivery.
PROPERTY WARRANTIES AND CONDITION
“AS-IS” SALE POLICY
All property is sold strictly “AS IS, WHERE-IS” without any form of recourse. Certified Estate Auctions, Inc., acting both independently and as seller’s agent, provides no warranties or representations regarding any lot’s:
Correctness of description
Genuineness or authenticity
Authorship or attribution
Provenance or historical background
Cultural period or origin
Source or derivation
Current market value
Physical or aesthetic condition
CONDITION REPORTS
Condition reports represent professional opinions only and should not be interpreted as factual statements. The auction house accepts no responsibility for omissions or errors in condition assessments. The absence of condition commentary does not indicate perfect condition or freedom from imperfections.
BUYER’S PREMIUM STRUCTURE
All successful bids are subject to buyer’s premium fees calculated as follows:
UP TO $1,000: 20% premium
$1,001 TO $5,000: 20% premium
ABOVE $5,000: 20% premium
SALES TAX OBLIGATIONS
All purchases are subject to applicable city and state sales tax rates unless valid tax-exempt certificates are provided to the auctioneer prior to sale completion.
PAYMENT AND PICKUP PROCEDURES
FINAL SALE POLICY
All sales are final and non-negotiable upon hammer fall. No returns, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted under any circumstances.
INVOICE AND PAYMENT TIMELINE
Invoices are distributed via email after the auction concludes. Buyers bear full responsibility for:
Prompt payment remittance
Merchandise removal within specified timeframes
Compliance with all agreement terms
PICKUP REQUIREMENTS
Full payment and merchandise removal must be completed on time and as specified by the auctioneer.
STORAGE AND ABANDONMENT POLICIES
Merchandise remaining beyond the pickup deadline incurs storage fees of $10.00 per lot, per day. Items left unclaimed for more than 10 business days after auction date are considered abandoned, with ownership transferring automatically to the auctioneer.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Bidder acceptance constitutes full legal and financial responsibility for lots, including:
Hammer price
Applicable sales taxes
Buyer’s premium fees

Direct wire transfers (domestic: $15 fee, international: $16 fee)
Items will not be released for shipment until payment clearance is confirmed through respective financial institutions.
NON-PAYMENT CONSEQUENCES
Failure to satisfy invoice obligations as specified by the auctioneer triggers the auction house’s right to pursue multiple remedies:
FINANCIAL RECOVERY: Collection of all monetary losses from lot resale, including associated costs
DEPOSIT RETENTION: Forfeiture of any deposits or partial payments made
COLLECTION COSTS: Recovery of all collection expenses, including 15% attorney fees, up to 3% monthly interest on outstanding balances, and related costs
LEGAL REMEDIES: Pursuit of all additional relief permitted under Georgia state law
JURISDICTION: All disputes fall under Georgia law with jurisdiction and venue in Fulton County, Georgia.
