Due to various factors, including but not limited to light, cameras, monitors, the unique shape of items, the actual items may differ from the pictures on our catalog in terms of size and color. While we commit our full effort to ensure the quality of pictures, there is NO guarantee their appearance matches the items themselves. If you have special requests for any items, please contact us before the auction.
Item descriptions are our opinions and should NEVER be interpreted as any form of assurance of age or condition. It is the responsibility of bidders to ensure that they are satisfied with the condition of the item prior to bidding. Any forms of bidding indicate bidder has agreed to this understanding.
1. Registration. Bidders must register in advance to bid at auction. The Company, the Royal Sea LLC, reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse registration and participation in the auction to any person.
2. Absentee tenders. For the convenience of the buyer, absent bids will be accepted if executed correctly and submitted in a timely manner. However, we will not be liable for any failure to execute absentee bids.
3. Condition Report. In any directory or elsewhere with respect to age, attribution, authenticity, size, authenticity, provenance, historical relevance or importance, physical condition, importance, quality, quantity, rarity, period, any and all representations and descriptions, descriptions of provenance or origin are our opinions and should NEVER be construed as warranties of any kind as to age, condition. This disclaimer applies to all items sold by or through the company.
4. Estimates. All estimates published in our auction catalogue or anywhere else are merely opinions of the company. It is not a guarantee of fair market values. The hammer price of any auctioned lots can differ significantly from their estimates. The Company is not responsible for any such discrepancies.
5. Property sale, purchase, and payment terms. The auctioned lots shall be sold to the highest bidder determined by the Auctioneer. When the auctioneer's hammer falls, ownership of the lot shall pass. Buyer shall pay the purchase price and any other fees in full within seven (7) days of the auction. The property will not be released to the buyer until the company has received funds for all dues. Payment may be made by (i) cash, (ii) wire transfer, (iii) money order or other secured funds, or (iv) personal check (when the buyer's credit is approved).
6. Shipping. For buyers who have already paid off their invoices, if you need mailing services, please communicate in a timely manner with the company. Upon such request, the shipping department will provide an estimate of packaging and shipping. Packaging and shipping are paid, add-on services not included in your hammer price or premiums. Customers may opt for shipping insurance provided by third-party carriers at an extra cost. Under no circumstances will we, the Royal Sea LLC and its associated personnel, be liable for theft or property damage once items are released to third-party carriers. This exemption of liability also becomes effective when buyers or their appointed agents pick up items and sign the release form with the company. After sales, any matters related to transportation does not constitute a reason to cancel any purchase at auction.
7. Storage. If buyers fail to remove their purchased items from the auction house within thirty (30) days after the sale date, the company, Royal Sea LLC, has the right to remove these goods from its warehouse or to charge a storage fee for keeping the items under its custody at its own discretion. Under no circumstances, Royal Sea LLC is liable for any damage or loss incurred to the items in custody.
8. Return. Due to the nature of auction business, and in accordance with the standard practice of the industry, the company DOES NOT accept any returns. However, in order to promote the liquidity of the market and to offer an improved buyer experience, the company, at its own discretion, may allow buyers to return high-value items if the buyer and the company had entered an added service agreement introduced below.
9. Valuation. Bidders should form their own understanding of the conditions and valuation of the items they bid on. The company cannot and will not guarantee the authenticity of the items it sells and auctions. For lots that were sold with hammer price over $5,000 and were estimated over 200 years old, if the winning bidder had settled the invoice in a timely manner and had concerns over the age of lots, the winning bidder could contact the company and enter into a post-sale add-on service agreement. The agreement will allow the bidder to request a return if following conditions are met: bidder has performed a thermoluminescence test through a certified, independent England testing facility that is approved by the company; and the test confirms that the age difference of purchased lot is over 50 years from what the auctioneer had estimated and promoted; and the item had not been damaged or repaired in any kind. When the above conditions are met, the buyer could file a return request with the company. After the company has confirmed all criteria are met and accepted the return, the company will issue a refund equal to the amount of hammer price to the buyer. The refund will not include buyer's premium, the cost of packaging and that of shipping, and other miscellaneous fees. Buyers can enter into the agreement only if the invoice has been timely settled. Entering the agreement requires the buyer to sign a legal contract with the company and an independent third-party in the state of Georgia, where the company is registered. The agreement will clarify the terms and conditions that both parties will agree on, including but not limited to: based on the types and conditions of the lot in question, the company may impose a storage fee and a service fee in the amount of 9%-21% of the total value of the lot; a fixed timeframe for the duration of the agreement ranging from two (2) to six (6) months. This post-sale add-on service is a paid extra service that is not included in the buyer's premium. In the event of disputes, the final interpretation rights shall be vested in the auction company.

The auctioneer has absolute discretion: 1) transfer or withdraw the auction object at any time before the auction object is actually sold; 2) Refusal to accept any bidder; 3) Refusal to accept any bid; 4) Resolve any disputes between bidders, or resolve any suspicious bidding by deciding who is the successful bidder, or cancel the auction target and re-sell it. The auctioneer's provisional auction decision is binding on disputes arising from the auction. In the event of an after-sales dispute, our sales record will be conclusive. Neither the Auctioneer nor the Company shall be liable for exercising the discretion referred to herein. Individual lots in the auction catalogue. There may be a reserve price for auctioned items, which is the confidential minimum hammer price when the lot is sold. In enforcing a reservation, the auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the principal, either through public bidding or in response to other bidders continuing to bid until the reserve is reached. If the reserve price is not reached, the auctioneer has the right to withdraw the item from the auction.
By bidding for an item, the buyer understands and accepts the above Terms and Conditions. If the buyer breaches any of these Terms and Conditions, including the obligation to pay for the purchased items, the Company may seek remedies in accordance with the law. including remedies such as cancelling the sale and re-offering the Property without reservation.
