Retirement and Downsizing sale for Larry and Jane Schlachter. Larry and Jane are well known around North Georgia for their ownership of trade day in Summerville as well as their Folk Art. They've welcomed thousands of visitors to their flea market since the '70s. Larry and Jane are collectors themselves and own the Folk American Art Gallery located on the grounds of the flea market. They have folk art pieces of Michael Banks , Jimmy Lee Sudduth, Willie Jinks, and Howard Finster some of which will be at this enormous sale.
They are also liquidating items from their many years of collecting from antique shows, auctions and flea markets.
The sale will be on two different weekends in October and is one you surely do not want to miss!
10/18-10/20 and 10/25-10/27
Larry and Jane will be adding items to the sale so keep checking back for more pictures.
Some items include Gordy, Cleater Meaders, hundreds of record albums and 45s, 8 track tapes, Mammy's bench from Mountain Cove Farms, Tiffany utensils, creamers, and jewelry boxes, an antique chest of drawers from Chattooga County, a partner's desk, some neon signs, VHS movies, lamps/lighting, lots of china, upright coke cooler, wax museum letters from underground Atlanta, and so much more.
