The Millennial Mema! | Heywood-Wakefield, Antiques, Vintage Glass, Disney + More

We’re calling this one The Millennial Mema Estate Sale because after spending the last week digging through this house, we still haven’t come up with a better way to describe it.

This house is SUCH a mix.

You’ve got antiques, primitives, vintage glass, old pottery, linens, sewing, transferware, golf, ducks, bells and all the things Mema loves… then you turn the corner and there’s Disney, Vera Bradley, kids’ stuff, clothing, games, toys and everyday household items.

Basically, Mema had range.

There’s a LOT for the vintage and antique crowd throughout the house — Tiara / Indiana Glass, Fenton, pressed and colored glass, blue-and-white ceramics, pottery, pitchers, vintage serving pieces, ovenware, transferware including antique Burgess & Leigh, old kitchenware, lamps, clocks, radios, typewriters, scales, baskets, folk art and primitive pieces.

And that’s the thing about this house: there are interesting little finds everywhere.

The children’s books are practically a sale by themselves. There are tons of them, from vintage children’s books to familiar favorites, and we’ve already found at least one first-edition Dr. Seuss. This is absolutely a section worth digging through.

There is also a HUGE amount of clothing.

Baby girl clothes. Girls’ clothes. Teen clothes. Women’s clothes. Some men’s clothing. Shoes and boots. Handbags. Lots of Vera Bradley. Accessories. Jewelry. And some genuinely old vintage hats that are one of our favorite little collections in the house.

Then there are the collections.

This is not one of those estate sales where you walk in, look at ten pieces of furniture and leave.

This is a dig-around sale.

Come looking for a piece of vintage glass and leave with a stack of children’s books, an antique lamp, two Vera Bradley bags, a duck, a weird little thing you didn’t know existed until five minutes ago and something from the garage you absolutely did not plan on buying.

There is a LOT here, at a lot of different price points, and genuinely a little something for everybody.
