Mid Century Modern Marvel and Treasure Trove of tools in Old Bloomingdale

This house has so much to offer.  Starting in the kitchen, there is a 1980 green and brown country table with green tile top.  One leaf and four chairs.  Plus a matching bakers rack. Vintage TV trays. And a collection of costume jewelry.  A table is filled with sets of glasses, decorative cut glass.

The family room has a leather sofa purchased in 1977 from the Merchandise Mart in Chicago and featured on the cover of Architectural Digest. Plus Mid Century Modern (MCM) leather tufted front bar with stools. In excellent condition., two MCM leather footstools, a MCM Chrome Craft double seat in black leather, stereo equipment including eight track and tapes, duck decoys, vintage wooden rocking horse.  There is a Chrome Craft octagon table with four tufted swivel chairs called the “Star Trek” table from 1980s.

The living room has a 1980s floral sofa and loveseat, brass small table, brass tall candlesticks, shell shaped brass sconces,  chandelier floor lamp, white end table, MCM tall lamp with hanging lights, “crown” side chair, spider back chair, magazine rack, Majolica Koi fish plant stands, Asian decorative items, two tables full of decorative dishes, sets of glasses, large platter holding a punch bowl and cups, 

The dining room MCM set has a large table with two leaves and six chairs, China cabinet, buffet, set of Noritake “Avery “ dishes, Bing and Grondahl Seagull plates and accessories, decorative serving pieces, 

The master bedroom has a king bed with mattress and box spring, night stands, desk and chair,  a MCM curved gold velvet sofa with a gorgeous ornate gold framed mirror, antique sewing machine, lime green and white daybed, two vintage chairs, Italian statue, luggage, and three racks of womens clothing in sizes large, XL, 1X and 2X, shoes, purses, hats, mink coats and hats, spectacular dresses from the 60’s and 70’s.  

The second bedroom has a MCM bedroom set with an Asian influence call Chinoiserie style.  King headboard, mattress and box spring (one side lifts) triple dresser with mirrors, armoire, night stands, pair of lamps, fireplace, chairs, and king linens.

There are a pair of twin beds with mattress and box spring plus linens, mens clothing and night stand

the office has a desk, three wooden shelves, file cabinets.

the garage is filled with tools!  Four free standing saws and grinders, metal lathe, tool cabinets, ladders, handicap equipment, long handled tools, hand tools, 

the basement has a Grundig media cabinet, two key boards, a Fender electric guitar and speaker, trombone and record albums,  a large Lions head door knocker, four different crystal chandeliers, a metal brown table with black vinyl chairs…so :MCM.  Two large wooden bookcases, an off white pair of loveseats with 4 storage ottomans, lots of Christmas decorations,
