large items will have a tag: pull the tag to claim. **please do not take tags and put them back later. taking a tag means you are purchasing the item. tags that are not brought to the checkout in a timely manner will be replaced and the item will be considered available.
**please note: neon items have a unique/specific moving process. pickup/delivery details for large items will be worked out post-sale between owner and buyer.

prepare for a unique sale experience inside the dynamic workshop of nate schaeffer, proprietor of big sexy neon. the workshop features a striking variety of glass neon sculptures large and small, spanning many themes and styles-- all handcrafted and handbent here in new orleans. by some estimates, there are fewer than 30 artists in the united states still working in old-fashioned handbent neon sign making (the original method since 1898-- with glass tubes heated and bent into shape). this is the real deal! some vintage neon pieces in the collection will be available as well. the workshop is liquidating for an upcoming move so all pieces will be offered at huge, exclusive discounts. there will be many non-neon items as well, including art, curiosities, tools, furniture, and other shop gear. one day only!
