DECADES OLD TIME CAPSULE

We're Uptown this weekend with a little something different for us - an old time capsule. This is a preliminary sale to a larger, more traditional estate sale that will be held in another family home sometime in the fall. Stay tuned!

The owner of this home passed away in 1989 and the home has been virtually untouched since then. As you can see from the photos, she was a collector and accumulated a variety of items in her lifetime. If there's one of something, there's multiple of the same thing!  

This is a great sale for dealers and vintage collectors. Everything will be priced to move! Two main floors and a basement with a lot to sort and dig through - definitely lots of treasures to be discovered in this sale.

Lots of misc. decor snd collectible items throughout -- Regulator wall clock, small brass clocks, cast iron pieces, porcelain figurines, pair Chinese ancestral portrait scrolls, pair foo dogs, some blue and white, antique mirrors, porcelain dinnerware, Wedgwood dinnerware, vintage tea sets and endless cups and saucers, misc. vintage glassware, vintage kitchen items, vintage Coca-Cola items, silver-plate, old St. Charles Hotel silver tray, old tin relief pieces, old photographs, old frames, old bottles, cardboard Dixie Beer case filled with 24 bottles....everything is old! VINTAGE TOYS + DOLLS

Vintage 1950's tin mechanical toys, vintage Buddy L Texaco toy truck in new condition, some Disney items, numerous vintage toys in their original packaging, vintage child's tea sets - most in their original packaging, hundreds if not thousands of toy bits and pieces! Lots to discover!

Large collection of vintage (probably 1970's) iron horse and carriage toys -- most all of them are "new" and unused -- many "Fire" and "Ice" horse and carriages, one Santa Claus Christmas, many misc. Also, large collection of "new" and unused small iron banks and a few iron figurines. These were all discovered in the attic, undisturbed for decades and in their original packaging. 

A room dedicated to antique bisque dolls, mostly German and in fair condition. The doll room has sat untouched for 36+ years. In the doll room you'll find a Victorian-style wicker stroller, vintage white crib and bassinet, multiple child's chairs and rockers and more. Also, there are a lot of vintage clown dolls and figurines plus multiple misc. dolls and figurines -- many collectible and some possibly rare. Lots to discover!

We're discovering more and more everyday. We discovered another room in the basement that was full of small treasures. The basement will be a fun dig! Check back during the week for more photos and updates as we continue to organize and price discoveries.
