All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Descriptions and condition notes are provided to the best of our knowledge, but Colburn Auctions makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to condition, authenticity, age, provenance, or value. Bidders are encouraged to attend the preview Saturday, August 15, 9:00 AM to Noon, 366 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA) or request a condition report before bidding. All sales are final; no returns or chargebacks based on condition or description.
2. A 20% buyer?s premium (25% online) will be added to the hammer price of each lot. A 3% discount on the buyer?s premium applies to payment by cash, check, or wire transfer.
3. Payment in full is due within 5 days of invoice. Title does not pass until payment has cleared.
4. Massachusetts sales tax of 6.25% applies unless a valid resale certificate is on file before payment.
5. Pickup: Items must be picked up at 366 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA. day of the sale, or by appointment (860-684-2400). Items not collected within 10 days may incur storage fees or be considered abandoned.
6. Shipping: Shipping is the buyer?s responsibility. Colburn Auctions can refer buyers to independent third-party shippers; all packing, shipping, and insurance costs and arrangements are between the buyer and the shipper.
7. The auctioneer has sole discretion over bidding increments, the resolution of tie or disputed bids, and the withdrawal of any lot. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer?s decision is final.
8. Online bidding is provided through LiveAuctioneers. Colburn Auctions is not responsible for missed bids due to internet connectivity, platform errors, or bidder error. Absentee bids are executed as a convenience and without liability.
9. Registration requires a valid credit card. Colburn Auctions reserves the right to refuse registration or revoke bidding privileges.
10. Non-payment: Unpaid lots may be cancelled and resold, and the buyer held responsible for any deficiency and collection costs. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
