This is a VERY INTERESTING sale, and although last minute it will be well worth the effort we are putting into it and a lot of fun to shop! This is only weekend ONE Of TWO. Capital items will be priced, all others are tagged as ( FOR INSTANCE) " Costume Jewelry" $3 to $10. Cashier makes final price, and OFFERS ARE EXPECTED. Daily discounts will only be on the priced/tagged items, of course so don't be shy, make your offers!
There are a few thousand pieces of ladies clothing, overall in the home. some vintage most from the 80's and 90's. Our client was a Salvation Army volunteer and had excellent taste. She snagged the best deals on clothes, home decor, furniture, costume jewelry and accessories. Weekend two will have an open basement of all the clothing, some of it brought upstairs as space allows.
Sale one is the first and second floors to include: Hundreds of pieces of ladies clothing size small to large,( You have to dig for the things you want they will not be organized into sizes and brands,) shoes, boots, ( size 6 to 7), hats, handbags, costume jewelry, dog statues and figurines, lots of miniature animal china figurines, Waterford Crystal stemware, vases, bowls, etc. two huge plaster cherubs, Polo art, vintage hunt scenes, ( a horsewoman and animal lover, ) antique spaniel painting, other paintings and vintage art, feather boas, fur hats, all types of hats, and handbags, scarves, belts, etc., costume jewelry of all types ( will be in the kitchen, no other room), Books, DVD's, CD's, Books, Leather sleeper sofa ( excellent), Lamps, Lingerie chest and matching bedside cabinet ( French Provincial) She used it as a bar, A wonderful antique PostMaster's Desk with around 500 cubby holes on top of a solid wood table desk, Mission side chair, Cowboy style 1950's leather arm chair, Oak spindle turned cane seat back arm chair and other solid oak antique chair, French Provincial china display cabinet painted cream, Tapestry of florals for wall or floor, Hooked rug, small Oriental rug, Huge vase full of long feathers, Oriental runner pastel tones, Teak mid century chest of drawers and matching corner cabinet, 2 glass fronted display end cabinets, Victorian dress form, Victorian curio cabinet, Feather collection, Cow bone collection, small animal bone collection, Cow skull, ( all are sanitized and bleached), goat skull with fur and teeth ( lol), tiny bug collection, cicada collection ( she made art from them,)and lots more including Kitchen items. Dollar box items will be in front of the house on tables, probably in one of the reserved parking spaces.
OUTDOOR patio oddities, old iron garden seating, teak bench, wooden signs ( dogs) statues of dogs, etc. Stained glass window partially restored, iron shelf, etc. etc.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHOPPING BAGS AND BOXES FOR ANY GLASS ITEMS. WE NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME/ENERGY AND SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE AND WE ARE NOT I MAGNIN, although you might think we are by the look of the wardrobe in this home.
