Auctioneers Note: The items in the Category fall under the National Firearms Act of 1934. There are considered Class 3 items. Very specific paperwork must be submitted to the ATF including being fingerprinted and including a current photograph. A $200 fee for a Tax Stamp is collected by the ATF. The paperwork process can take many months to be completed and get a response from the ATF. All of these items are going to be on a Form 4 and are part of an Estate. The items will be maintained by the Estate until the Approval process is completed by the ATF and a new From 4 with Tax Stamp has been issued in your name. If a MD Resident we can help with the paperwork. If you are a resident of any state other that MD the items will be transferred on a Form 4 to a Class 3/SOT holder in your state. There will be a $200 paperwork/Tax stamp fee to transfer the item to your dealer. Once in the possession of your Dealer you will then have to complete a Separate Form 4 and submit that paperwork to the ATF and pay the $200 Tax stamp. For what ever reason if you are not approved we can resell the item(s) at your risk. Please make sure you understand what is required to purchase one of these items. There will be no refunds if you decide to backout. Your only recourse would be for us to resell the item.

FFL Note on Handgun Transfers in MD: Our FFL will process the Background checks on Handguns through the Maryland State Police. You will be required to make an appointment the week of Feb. 10th-14th from 9 AM – 5 PM to fill out the necessary 4473 Form. You will need your application and Pin # from MSP and you must be at our facility when the paperwork is transmitted to MSP. This is a 10-15 minute process and will not be completed during the Live Auction on Friday night. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Required Gun Paperwork: All modern firearms will be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer, who will be onsite, to process the required paperwork to transfer the firearms. A transfer fee will be collected by the FFL dealer. Our FFL can transfer Modern Rifles/Shotguns to Residents of MD, DE, VA, WV & PA. If you live out of Maryland and purchase a pistol or banned firearm the firearm(s) must be transferred to an FFL Dealer in your state to process the required paperwork. FFL dealers must bring an original signed copy of their FFL. MD Handgun purchasers must possess an HQL License. Maryland Regulated Firearm purchases are being completed online as or Jan. 1, 2017. If you are a MD Resident with an HQL please visit the MD State Police Website to fill out your paperwork. This paperwork can be filled out in advance of your purchase. You will be provided a Pin/Tracking # at the conclusion of filling out the paperwork. Bring that Pin # to the Auction. We can attach the Handgun information to your online paperwork and submit it directly to the MD State Police for processing. Pickup: We will be onsite on Friday Night the 7th of February until the end of the Auction. (Approx. 10 PM). Items can be picked up at the Auction Site on Saturday the 8th of February from 9 AM - 12 Noon or the following week Monday February 10th- Friday Feb. 14th from 9 AM – 5 PM by Appointment. Buyer is responsible for removing all items. A&M Auctioneers and Appraiser’s, LLC does not ship NON FIREARM items, however shipping is available through the UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD or a shipper of buyer’s choice. Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower, tools, boxes, wrapping paper, blankets, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property. Items not picked or shipping arrangements made by Friday Feb. 14th, 2025 may be considered abandoned and will be disposed of at the discretion of the Auction Company

Firearm Shipping: A&M Auctions will handle the shipping of Firearms & High Capacity Mags. Payment for the packing, materials, boxes, insurance, Signature Confirmation, handling & shipping of purchased lots is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyer is responsible for the actual cost of shipping. Shipping via US Postal Service Priority Mail or UPS. Shipping fees must be paid prior to the items being shipped. Shipping charges may be billed separately from the items won at auction. It may be 10-14 days time from the day the invoice for items won is charged & shipping charges are determined. IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD SHIPPING HAS BECOME VERY EXPENSIVE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU CHOSE NOT TO HAVE YOUR ITEMS SHIPPED. Shipping will not be available on some larger sized items. These items will be marked in the catalog. If you purchase an item marked with shipping not available the buyer will be responsible for hiring a moving/freight company and pay all associated costs.

Shipping: A&M Auctioneers and Appraiser’s does not ship general auction merchandise, however shipping is available through one of three 3rd Party Shippers we utilize. They include the UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD/Delmar, DE & the Parcel Plus Store in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We can transport items back to our facility from the Auction Pickup site and then deliver the item(s) to a shipper for you for a fee. We deliver items once a week typically on Tue/Wed. You will pay the shipper directly for any and all costs associated with getting your items to you. Shipping has become very expensive. We have no control over the cost of shipping items. Please bid accordingly. We can’t provide you with shipping estimates. There may be large items in this auction that are not shippable and will require local pickup or for you to arrange a freight hauling/Professional moving service.
