Description & Details
We have decided to open our showroom for the Friday and Saturday after Christmas Day and before New Year's Day to give you, your relatives, and friends something to see and do during the holidays. We have removed all of the Christmas items, taken down the tree, and replaced it with an antique tall case clock what has a magnificent case with carved pediment and wonderful chime. Next to it stands a double spiral twist florescent floor lamp.
We have filled three display cabinets and two wall units with items that we did not have out last time. We have added to the two display cases more jewelry and small collectibles. We have added more gold and silver jewelry. Rather than photographing everything we have decided to focus on certain collectibles. So, look through the photos for antique Roseville pottery, Irish Belleek, a hefty grouping of British royalty collectibles including two FINE engraved crystal items. We have assembled a good grouping of French Quimper for you as well.
We have a 19th century Santo wood figure from Spanish colonial days in the western hemisphere. We have notable antique Irish cut crystal as well as a large assortment of other crystal, both clear and polychrome. Take time to imagine yourself on the antique carousel horse we have in back of the lefthand showroom. Maybe you will buy the period Mission Oak settee over which we have draped a Mexican multicolor blanket. If you collect typewriters, this is your opportunity to purchase an antique one that still works.
We have eight pieces of deluxe quality rosewood furniture for sale. They include a lighted china cabinet with three bottom drawers, an altar cabinet, two tall chests of drawers that are finished on both sides plus the back, two desks of two styles and sizes, the larger being a rolltop with pullout compartments case, the smaller being a dropfront.
Look up "binnacle" before you come so that you will recognize it when you see it in the righthand room of our showroom. Other nautical items we have are port and starboard lights in very heavy brass canisters, also a pair of heavy duty brass overhead lights on "X"-form extensions. You will enjoy perusing the framed artworks we have hung on our picture gallery wall.
We have unboxed more cups and saucers. We will let you mate the ones that we have yet to match. If you or someone you know is planning a wedding or other party and would like to offer a cup and saucer to each guest, we have plenty for you to choose from. Then there are the large and partial sets of china that we keep unboxing.
So, come for a good time. You will enjoy being with us in the showroom, browsing, perhaps selecting a few books, DVDs, or CDs. We just unboxed more books and DVDs since our Christmas sale.
