An early 20th century Waltham grandfather clock retailed by Tiffany & Co. New York. 8-day weight driven movement with quarter hour chiming on nine Waltham stamped tubular bells, arched Brass dial with engraved filigree design, Silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, "Strike/Silent" and "Oxford/Whitington/Westminster" dials, painted upper dial with moon phases, landscape and sailing ships, brass pendulum with Steel shaft. Mahogany Neoclassical style case with carved detail features a hood with an arched, molded crown and turned finial above and conforming door frame flanked by turned columns and a waist door with shaped glass flanked by turned columns, on a paneled base with molded plinth. Original finish with minor wear, slight dial wear, running when cataloged. 97" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
