Item Descriptions and Condition

We make every effort to describe all items accurately and to the best of our knowledge; however, these descriptions do not constitute a warranty. All items are sold AS IS. While we provide clear photographs and detailed descriptions, please note that we are an online-only auction and do not offer in-person inspection.

The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from imperfections, damage, or signs of age. We welcome specific condition inquiries at least 48 hours before the start of the auction. Any information provided regarding condition is offered as a courtesy and represents an opinion only; it should not be considered a statement of fact. Bach & Rubin Auctions is not responsible for any errors or omissions in item description or condition.

Each item is described individually and should not be used as a reference for the condition of other lots. Please bid only if you are confident in your assessment of the item. We do not give refunds or price adjustments. All sales are final!

Bach & Rubin Auctions expressly disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, on any item offered or sold.

By placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to these terms in full.

1. All bidders must register at least 24 business hours prior to the start of the auction and receive approval in order for bids to be accepted. Registration will not be permitted on the day of the sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse registration to any prospective bidder for any reason.

2. Please carefully review all photographs for item condition prior to bidding. Bidders are responsible for conducting their own research before placing a bid. All items offered are pre-owned, and condition may vary between lots. Photographs are provided as part of the description; however, variations in lighting, screen settings, and photography may result in slight discrepancies in color, tone, or appearance. All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly. Bach & Rubin Auctions makes no guarantees regarding the absolute accuracy of photographs, item descriptions, or listed measurements.

3. Bach & Rubin Auctions and/or the auction managers assume no responsibility for the correct description, genuineness, authenticity of or defect in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith.

4. Back & Rubin Auctions reserves the right to remove any lots from the auction up to two hours prior to the start of the live auction, including those that have already received bids.

5. Bach & Rubin Auctions is not responsible for accidental bids placed by bidders or for bids that have not been retracted prior to the start of the auction.

6. In the event of a dispute between bidders, or if there is any uncertainty regarding the validity of a bid, Bach & Rubin Auctions reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the winning bidder or to withdraw and re-offer the item in question.

7. Bach & Rubin Auctions reserves the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion.

8. Bach & Rubin Auctions reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the auction without liability.

9. If we are unable to deliver any merchandise to the purchaser due to fire, theft, or any other cause beyond our control, our liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the purchaser for that merchandise.

10. For internet-only auctions, Bach & Rubin Auctions reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or reopen bidding in the event of technical malfunctions or system failures. We are not liable for missed, failed, or unregistered bids resulting from internet connectivity issues, device malfunctions, software errors, or any other technological disruptions experienced by the bidder. By participating in an online auction, bidders accept and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with digital platforms, which may be beyond our control. In the event of any technical difficulties, all decisions made by Bach & Rubin Auctions regarding the outcome of the auction or the designation of the winning bidder shall be considered final and binding.

11. As a fully online auction house, we provide detailed photos and descriptions, but no physical preview is available. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to reach out to us with any questions and requests for additional information or pictures prior to the auction date.

12. All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, cancellations, or price adjustments will be offered under any circumstances, including?but not limited to?misunderstanding of the description, concerns about condition after purchase, buyer?s remorse, failure to review auction terms, shipping delays, or changes in the buyer?s personal situation.

13. By submitting a bid, you acknowledge and agree that, if you are the winning bidder, you are entering into a legally binding agreement to complete the purchase of the item.*

14. Bach & Rubin Auctions may require bidder verification through LiveAuctioneers. This may include credit card verification or other identity confirmation steps. We reserve the right to reject bids from any bidder with a history of non-payment, unresolved disputes, or negative feedback.

15. Antique and vintage dolls may have undergone repairs, restorations, or alterations over time. While we make every effort to disclose notable restorations or modifications, the absence of such information does not imply that a doll is free from previous work. Normal age-related wear, minor repairs, and professional restorations are to be expected with antique items and may not be detailed in the description. By bidding, purchasers acknowledge and accept these inherent characteristics of antique and vintage collectibles.
