 A Huge 2 day ESTATE SALE EVENT for the Sisters at Saint Marys and the Franciscan Sisters of the Congregation of Our Lady of Lourdes

So large it's being held at the International Event Center 

7333 Airport View Drive SW Rochester

Friday Sept.12th 8am-7pm

Saturday Sept.13th 9am-4pm

 

 

No pre-sales, FCFS, everything has been moved from the Saint Marys Convent and the Motherhouse at Assisi Heights and will be tagged and available to purchase for cash or check only.

 

The Sisters have been conducting this sale since 1983 to raise funds for the POVERELLO Fund, which offers financial aid to patients in need.

 

This Estate Sale Event will be a bit different since it is a culmination of their collections and effects from over a hundred years!

 

Attention crafters, furniture flippers, re-purposers, recyclers, college kids, history buffs, art lovers, book lovers, those who love religion, those in need of office furniture/equipment or anyone looking for inexpensive projects you will not want to miss this event especially if you want to own a piece of history from the Sisters working and living at Saint Marys, Mayo Clinic or the Motherhouse .

This sale is really unusual and almost indescribable, and we can't wait for you to see it. 

 

Dozens and dozens of small vintage/ antique wood dressers and chest of drawers, some with mirrors. Lots of vintage/antique small wood tables, night and plant stands. Many 'industrial looking' metal floor lamps and table lamps. Antique/vintage steamer trunks. Storage cupboards, metal shelving. Large hand carved ornately decorated Harvest Table. Sets of highly ornate carved chairs. Set of parlor furniture. Many religious pictures and original artwork, so much framed art! Wrought iron lamps, bookshelves. Many, many upholstered EZ chairs, platform rockers, power recliners, lift chairs and wood rockers. Beds and mattresses. An upright piano, an organ and 2 Baby Grand Pianos! Lots and lots of donated costume jewelry and FINE jewelry including rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and religious jewelry! 

 

This is going to be a fun event, and you'll discover so many hidden gems. So, grab your friends, get a cup of coffee and come purchase one or maybe 1,000 cookies from Sister Lauren's 'Special Sugar Cookie' recipe to help raise funds for the Poverello Fund and to say “Hi!”
