ESTATE AUCTION SALE // Brown Button is hosting an online estate sale with 100% of proceeds benefiting Mission Adelante. Mission Adelante is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Kansas City, Kansas focused on assisting immigrant & refugee families with housing, citizenship, English classes & more. We are asking the Brown Button community to help us support this cause by bidding in the online auction and coming to our preview event on Friday, March 28th!

The Brown Button team’s labor for this sale is volunteer-based and all proceeds will go to Mission Adelante.

Bidding opens Wednesday, March 26th and runs through Friday, March 28th.

Auction items include a large selection of jewelry including sterling silver and 14K gold, John Boyd Martin original art, furniture and decor. Notable jewelry designers include Miriam Haskell, Judith Ripka, Samuel Benham and more.

There will be a preview event with wine and dessert on March 28th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Come join us for a sneak peek at the amazing items up for grabs at this auction, and participate in bidding live as the auction closes!

This event will be held at 901 Woodswether Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64105. Tickets for the event are $10.

This is a timed auction, and lots will begin closing Friday, March 28th at 7:30pm. Lots are scheduled to close 30 seconds apart.  If a bid is received within the last 30 seconds, one minute is added to the closing.

There is a 15% buyers premium on all items. So if you’re the winning bidder at $100, the total will be $115.

If you are a winning bidder, you will receive an invoice at the end of the auction and your credit card on file will be auto-charged (there is no additional fee for credit card payments). We do not accept cash or checks for payment.

All items must be picked up on Saturday, March 29th. All winning bidders will need to sign up for a scheduled pick-up slot. Items not picked up will be donated and no refunds provided. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.

Important Auction Information:

• To Bid: You will need to register for an auction. We will get contact and payment information from you.

• Timed Bidding: Lots will begin closing at 7pm and will close 1 minute apart. If a new bid comes in during the last 30 seconds before a lot closes, and additional 20 seconds will be added.

• Buyer’s Premium: A buyer’s premium is an additional charge to the winning bidder. It is a percentage of their bid and is added to the winning bid amount. The buyer’s premium is 15% of the final hammer price.

• Payment: If you are a winning bidder, you will receive an invoice at the end of the auction and your credit card on file will be auto-charged (there is no additional fee for credit card payments). We do not accept cash or checks for payment.

• Sales Tax: All winning bidders are responsible to pay state and local sales tax as required by law. Exempt bidders should file a tax exemption form with Brown Button/Circle Auction to have sales tax removed.

• Pickup: Item pickup is March 29th, and the address will be provided to winning bidders. Items not picked up on March 29th will be donated and no refunds will be provided. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.
