All bidders agree to be bound by this contract in order to bid: Please scroll and read ALL terms below:
1. Buyer premium shall be 15% added to the hammer price. The sum of the hammer price and 15% buyer premium is the taxable amount.
2. Payment is collected at the conclusion of the auction and the card with which you registered will be charged. Methods of payment include VISA, MC, Discover, and American Express.
3. Tax will be 9.35%.
4. All bids are a binding contract. Bidder acknowledges that once a bid is offered, the bidder shall be bound by the bid amounts. Bids cannot be withdrawn or retracted. Verify your information entered (ie: bid amount) before submitting your bids. Bidder agrees that by placing a bid on any item they are bound by this bidder's contract and agreement for auction terms and conditions.
5. All items sold "As Is Where Is" with no guarantees or warranties. All descriptions are believed to be accurate and pictures take precedence in determining what is included in the lot. However, all bidding and buying is based solely on bidder's questions and/or opinion of the items. If you have questions about a specific lot, please contact estatesales@couchestocurios.com before placing a bid.
6. Auction team is agent of the seller(s) and will conduct business on their behalf.
7. Buyer is responsible for providing the supplies (boxes, packing material, tools & equipment, etc.) necessary, as well as the physical labor for dismantling, rigging, crating, loading, hauling, carrying and lifting of any items that they have purchased at their own expense and risk.
8. Couches to Curios LLC is NOT responsible for any damage during loading, packing, removal, or transport.
9. Buyers agree to not dispute any credit card charges associated with their invoice.
10. Any items not picked up by the end of the last day during scheduled pickup time will revert back to the seller with NO REFUND.
11. All items will be picked up from the auction address during allocated pick up times.
12. Shipping: NO SHIPPING is available for this auction. All items must be picked up from the auction address during allocated pick up times.
13. Couches to Curios Auctions makes no warranty that your use of this site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. In case of any errors or malfunctions of hardware or software, Couches to Curios reserves the right to cancel any transaction, even if you have received confirmation of the transaction by email. We cannot and will not guarantee uninterrupted access to this site or its services.
14. Dynamic Closing: If a bid is entered within the last two minutes of the closing of an item, the closing time will be extended by two minutes to ensure sufficient time for bidders to submit their bids. Dynamic Closing will continue until no bids are placed within two minutes.
