The living estate of Mr. O. T. McAlpin will be held on May 17th at 14973 Dry Grove Road, Raymond, Mississippi. The doors will OPEN at 9 AM and the sale will CLOSE at 7 PM. The time of the sale has been extended so that everyone has an opportunity to attend and due to the large quantity of merchandise that will be available.
This estate sale consists of the contents of three separate estates: the living estate of Mr. O. T., the recent occupant of the home and also the majority of the estates of two family members, now deceased. There is a large volume of collectibles, primitives, modern day goods and antiques available. There is something for everyone and it will be a dealer’s paradise. Attention owners of catering businesses, also available are items used in catering services such as a huge quantity of cups, saucers, stands for candles (some about 4 foot tall), serving pieces, punch bowls, cake plates, decorative pieces, and wire frames for flowers. The storage building has a center room large enough for storage of two full size tractors (not available for sale) and four adjoining rooms that are loaded. This will be a fun sale and a profitable one for those of you who buy for resale. It will be well worth your drive.
The following list is far from complete, but it will give you a good idea of what is available and it is priced to sell: jewelry – costume, sterling, limited quantity of gold and diamonds, 1800s bedroom set consisting of bed and two marble top dressers,1800s hall tree, marble top tables, large display case approximately seven foot tall with double beveled glass doors, large China cabinet, modern bedroom set consisting of chest of drawers, dresser and mattress that is of extremely high quality, modern day dining room table and chairs, large assortment of comforters, stand up jewelry cabinets, lovely couches small to medium size roll top desk, large assortment of cast iron cookware, Magnolite cooker, Corning Ware, Pyrex, Tupperware, Coke Cola tabletop, lovely Christmas villages, milk glass some rare pieces, depression glass, collectible German items to include Deutch dressed dolls and a 2 liter glass beer boot usually found at October Fests, large assortment of all types of collectible glassware and pottery, lovely sets of dishes, concrete planters, washer & dryer, upright freezer, all types of tools, golf clubs, records, a large number of collectible iron door stops, doll houses and a large variety of Tea sets, crocks, patio set, wicker furniture, small appliances & kitchen ware and more.
