Down on the Farm Estate Sale in Alexander/ North Asheville

Here is the idyllic Taylor-Sluder farm tucked in a valley amongst the rolling hills of Alexander, a farming community just west of Weaverville and north west of Asheville.  Please consider making the trip out to us this weekend!  These kinds of sales are getting less common as the generations march on.

IMPORTANT:

·       Inquiries about pricing may not be answered prior to the sale due to the volume and research required.  Items are appropriately priced and accessible to all types of buyers. It is ok to ask, but do not be offended if we are unable to get back to you.

·       Volume dictates that some items may be untagged, particularly in barns and outbuildings.  Make your pile of untagged items and Ben or Dave can give you a fair price.

·       Parking is across the road just past the house.  Look for signs and an attendant. This is a working farm, so any farm equipment that is not depicted in the photos is not for sale and should not be approached.  The farmer is a fine man graciously letting us invade during haying season.

A true farm sale, the Taylor-Sluder farm has been in the family for many generations.  Everything was used and salvaged over the decades.  Multiple barns and outbuildings, with full household of items priced to sell. Plus, this fisherman/gunsmith/gold miner is offering some cool hobby and craft equipment and rare treats that you only find down on the farm.  Here’s a partial list.
