Description & Details
🍸 BURLINGTON CALLED—THE 1960s ANSWERED 🍸
We have stumbled into a beautifully preserved Burlington time capsule, and apparently
nobody told this house that the 20th century ended.
Good. We prefer it this way.
This home is packed with the kind of unexpected finds that make estate-sale shoppers lose all
sense of time, money and available trunk space. Around one corner: Fiestaware, Lenox,
Franciscan pottery and Pyrex. Around the next: uranium glass, vintage pottery and fabulous 1960s barware
just waiting for cocktail hour to become glamorous again.
And then there’s the jewelry.
Tons of costume jewelry. High-end pieces. Sparkle upon sparkle upon sparkle.
Brooches, necklaces, bracelets and enough fabulousness to make your jewelry box feel wildly underqualified.
But this house isn’t finished showing off.
There are fossils, minerals, shells and shark teeth for collectors, curious minds and anyone who
has ever thought, “You know what my house needs? Evidence of prehistoric life.”
The doll department is also fully staffed, with Barbies, Madame Alexander dolls,
porcelain dolls and more, plus enough stuffed animals to form their own soft,
slightly judgmental welcoming committee.
You’ll also find:
🍽️ Fiestaware, Lenox, Franciscan pottery and Pyrex
☢️ Uranium glass and collectible pottery
🍹 Fabulous 1960s barware
💎 Mountains of costume jewelry and high-end pieces
🦈 Fossils, minerals, shells and shark teeth
👗 A plethora—and we mean a plethora—of vintage designer dresses from the 1960s and ’70s
🛋️ Vintage furniture spanning the 1940s through the 1970s
🔥 One absolutely stunning 1960s sofa that deserves its own agent
💄 Barbies, Madame Alexander and porcelain dolls
🧸 Stuffed animals by the armful
🎲 Vintage board games
🐱 A delightfully respectable Garfield collection
📚 Books, books and more genuinely good books, including plenty of John Grisham
This isn’t one of those houses where everything came from the same catalog during the same
unfortunate decorating phase. This home was collected over decades—and every room brings another surprise.
Come for the Pyrex. Stay for the shark teeth. Leave wearing a vintage designer dress,
carrying Garfield under one arm and a glowing glass dish under the other.
Burlington, prepare yourself.
This time capsule is opening—and it is fabulous. 🏕️🔥
