Happy Camper Estate Sales
Description & Details
Pleasant Garden’s “We Found Another Room” Estate Sale 🤯🛺🎄🧵
Campers.
We need you to sit down.
Actually, don’t. You’re going to need the stamina.
Because this Pleasant Garden house is not merely full. This house has apparently spent years quietly saying,
“Oh, I’ll keep that,” until every room, closet, cabinet, shelf, outbuilding, and available
horizontal surface replied, “Ma’am. Please.”
The result? A spectacular, glorious, treasure-stuffed,
what-in-the-Christmas-village-is-happening-here estate sale.
The house is full.
The outbuildings are full.
The sewing studio is full.
The closets are full.
At this point, we are pretty sure the house itself is wearing layers. 😆
Now, before you load up your biggest vehicle and point it toward Pleasant Garden like a shopper on a
mission: this sale is down a private gravel road with limited parking.
Translation: follow the signs. Follow staff direction. Do not park in the ditch. Do not park
“just for a second” across someone’s driveway. Do not create a parallel-parking situation
that requires three Campers, a traffic cone, and a spotter named Gary to resolve.
The Happy Camper Golf Cart will be rolling shuttles for shoppers and treasures,
because we know how this goes. You come for a vintage pattern. Then you find a Coach bag.
Then a Waterford piece calls your name. Then you meet a handmade quilt you cannot
leave behind. Suddenly you are trying to transport the contents of a small boutique in a Corolla. 🛺
🧵 THE SEWING STUDIO: FABRIC HAS ENTERED THE CHAT
Singer. White. Elna. Brother. Morse. Kenmore.
Sewing machines and equipment, fabric, notions, vintage patterns, handmade quilts,
and enough creative possibility to make your Pinterest board start sweating.
Quilters, crafters, makers, menders, theater moms, costume geniuses, and people who have said,
“I could totally make that,” while staring at a $300 pillow—your mothership has landed.
🎄 CHRISTMAS: UNHINGED, UNAPOLOGETIC, AND READY TO COME HOME WITH YOU
Lenox. Fitz and Floyd. Clothtique. Jim Shore. Hummels. Holiday décor. Collectibles.
Enough Christmas to decorate your house, your best friend’s house, your mother-in-law’s house,
and still have a tasteful little village left for the laundry room.
There may be enough Santas here to form a committee. They have probably already appointed a treasurer.
🛋️ FURNITURE, FANCY THINGS & A HOME-DÉCOR IDENTITY CRISIS
Furniture by Sherrill, Bauhaus, Temple Stuart, National Furniture, Bassett, and Thomasville.
China by Lenox, Mikasa, Queen China, Royal Albert, Franciscan, Studio Nova, Royal
Victorian, and Temper-Ware. Waterford and Mikasa crystal. Karastan and
Arakastan rugs. Art by Norman Rockwell and Bob Timberlake.
Plus a Victrola. A Ridgeway grandfather clock. Books. Housewares. Linens.
Tupperware. Wall art. Home décor. Yard art. Electronics. Appliances.
Your home is about to look at you and whisper, “So…we’re changing, huh?” ✨
👠 THE CLOSETS: ABSOLUTELY NO SELF-CONTROL
Tons of women’s clothing, including pieces still new with tags, plus jeans, fashion, outerwear,
shoes, boots, and handbags by Coach, Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors,
Fossil, Ralph Lauren, Talbots, Chico’s, LL Bean, Liz Claiborne, Cole Haan, Alegria, Dansko, and more.
You may show up in a T-shirt and sensible shoes.
You may leave wearing a new coat, carrying two handbags, and defending your purchase of
seven pairs of shoes with, “But they were practically begging me.” 💅
🔧 THE OUTBUILDINGS: BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE HOUSE COULDN’T HOLD THE WHOLE PARTY
Tools. Power tools. Fishing rods. Bikes. Outdoor furniture. Yard art. A utility cart.
An Agri-Fab spreader. A Poulan Pro riding mower.
DeWalt. Craftsman. Porter-Cable. Toro. Homelite. Remington.
Stanley. Black & Decker. Sun Joe.
Somewhere, a garage person is about to black out from happiness.
So pack your tape measure. Wear your good shopping shoes. Clear the trunk.
Charge your phone. Hydrate. Stretch. Alert your loved ones that you may be
unavailable for several hours while you wander through a suburban fever dream of fabric, Christmas, china, coats, tools, and “oh my God, there’s another building.”
Pleasant Garden…
We are coming in hot. 🔥
