Leading this 285-lot estate auction is a genuine showstopper — an Edison Home Phonograph with oak case and multiple metal horns — joined by a strong run of antique salt-glazed stoneware jugs and crocks, including a marked E. Swasey & Co. Portland jug and several capacity-marked examples. Art glass and pressed glass fans will find plenty to chase, from a Fenton uranium glass bear paperweight and Kanawha hobnail glassware to marigold and blue carnival glass punch sets, iridescent compotes, and a cobalt Bohemian cut-to-clear vase. The furniture highlights include an antique American Empire maple chest with dovetail joinery, an Ethan Allen cherry chest of drawers, and a primitive drop-leaf table with drawer. On the walls, look for a signed Savitt winter sleigh scene and a Frank Becker watercolor titled 'The Lobsterman.' Vintage clothing, quilts, linens, trunks, a Seeburg Wall-O-Matic jukebox wallbox, a Weeden No. 14 toy steam engine, and shelves of Japanese porcelain round out the breadth of this classic New England estate. Don't miss this one!
