This amazing antique stoneware auction features a collection of RARE Adam States stoneware. Often considered the FIRST FAMILY of AMERICAN STONEWARE, the States family has a history beginning in the 1740's. The examples we are offering at auction today are stamped, documented and genuine States family stoneware. This is a rare occurrence, to find even just find one States family example...we have nine examples to auction. We also have over 25 additional really stunning stoneware examples from all over early America.

We offer these wonderful and rare examples over the next two weekly auction closings. Our on-line only auctions close every Sunday evening, with new listings each week, 52 weeks a year. These States examples will have some of the collection featured each week over the next two weeks, 10 day auctions starting on June 5th and closing on June 15th and then starting on June 12th and then closing on June 22nd.  Our stoneware begins closing at 7PM on Sunday evenings and each example has 5 minutes between each closing to enable multiple purchases.
