YOUR BID IS A CONTRACT WITH ALL COUNTRY ESTATE SALES, LLC (“ACES”)
BY PLACING A BID IN THE AUCTION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE SET FORTH HEREIN.

All property offered and sold through All Country Estate Sales, LLC. ("ACES" "ACES Gallery") shall be offered and sold on the terms and conditions below. By bidding at the auction, whether present in person or by agent, by written bid, telephone, internet or other means, the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS" - ALL SALES FINAL - and neither the auctioneer nor any consignor makes any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representation or warranty, of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period culture, source, origin or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability.

2. RESERVES - Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed upon by the consignor and ACES below which the lot will not be sold. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed. A representative of ACES will execute such reserves by bidding for the consignor. In any event and whether or not a lot is subject to a reserve, the auctioneer may reject any bid or raise not commensurate with the value of such lot.

3. SALE - Except as provided in paragraph 2 above, on the fall of the auctioneers gavel or verbal declaration of the same, the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or re-offer the lot for sale. The auctioneer shall have sole discretion to refuse any bid, refuse to acknowledge any bidder, nullify bids before or after their execution, rescind any sale, or eject any person from the Auction premises. In the unlikely event of a loss of internet or phone connection we reserve the right to cancel or discontinue the auction.

4. BUYER'S PREMIUM - Except for property purchased online via liveauctioneers.com or invaluable.com, a premium equal to 23% of the final bid price will be applied to each lot sold, with a 3% discount for Cash, Wire, ACH, Zelle, or Check payment, to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The buyer's premium on property purchased via Liveauctioneers.com or invaluable.com will be in an amount up to 28% of the final bid price with a 3% discount for Cash, Wire, ACH, Zelle, or Check payment.

5. SALES TAX - All purchases are subject to a Connecticut State sales tax of 6.35% unless (1) the buyer is an out of state resident and lots are being shipped out of Connecticut or (2) the purchaser has a valid tax resale certificate (an actual resale certificate must be presented and on file with ACES Gallery)

6. PAYMENT - ACES Gallery Does NOT ACCEPT Credit Card Payments for Gemstones, Jewelry, or Precious Metals, Acceptable payment methods include: Cash (in house only); ACH Transfer, "Zelle" Transfer, Bank Wire Transfer, Money order, certified check, approved personal or business check with proper identification. We reserve the right to hold item(s) until checks are clear. International wire transfer invoices are subject to a $50 bank fee.

7. AUTOMATIC CHARGE – Buyers with payment information on file may have that payment information auto-charged 72 hours after auction close.

8. COLLECTION - COLLECTION IS "BY-APPOINTMENT" Items offered in the auction will be made available for buyers to collect for a period of three weeks following the auction, after which time remaining material will be packed and moved to ACES Gallery's secure storage facility at the risk and expense of the buyer. Packing and loading are the responsibility of the buyer, though ACES Gallery may offer assistance, it will not be held liable for any damage resulting from such action. ACES Gallery will not be held responsible for any damage or missing items following the sale.

UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made; Items not picked up by after twenty one (21) calendar days will be subject to a moving and packing charge, plus a $10 per day/ per lot storage fee.

9. SHIPPING - Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Upon request, our staff will provide a list of shippers who deliver to destinations within the United States and overseas. Buyers must contact the shipping company directly after the auction to arrange shipment and payment for shipping. We require a written emailed release in order to have items ready for pickup.
Some property that is sold at auction can be subject to laws governing exports from the U.S., such as items that include material from some endangered species. Import restrictions from foreign countries are subject to these same governing laws. Granting of licensing for import or export of goods from local authorities is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Denial or delay of licensing will not constitute cancellation or delay in payment for the total purchase price of these lots.

10. DAMAGE IN TRANSIT - Any damage that occurred during shipping is the responsibility of the shipper. All items must be signed off on by the shipper before leaving our facilities confirming condition is as stated in the catalog.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS - Bidding on any item constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Sale and all other terms printed within, posted, and announced at the time of the sale whether bidding in person, through a representative, by phone, by internet, by absentee bid, or by any other means.

12. LIABILITY - In no event will the liability of ACES Gallery to any purchaser with respect to any item exceed the purchase price actually paid by such purchaser for such item.

13. VALIDITY - No invalidity or partial invalidity or unenforceability of any provision provided herein shall affect or impair the validity or enforceability of any other provision hereof.

PABLO PICASSO (SPANISH, 1881-1973) DON QUIXOTE POSTER | Black-ink print depicting Don Quixote on horseback with Sancho Panza and a small orange sun in the upper left. Lower left bears a printed inscription reading "Picasso 11.8.55." Image printed on white paper and housed in a thin silver metal frame under glass.

PAIR OF POLISHED BROWN AND WHITE BANDED AGATE BOOKENDS | Pair of polished banded agate bookends with flat, mirror-polished interior faces and a rough natural outer crust. Displays concentric brown, cream and white bands with drusy crystalline formation along the top edge. Each piece is sawn and polished to reveal interior agate patterns and rests on a flat base for standing. Surfaces show typical agate zoning and included veining visible in the polished faces.

CARVED COWHORN OBLONG BOWL | Oblong shallow bowl carved from a single horn with a smooth, polished interior and exterior. Coloration transitions from dark brown/black to light beige with flame-like banding across the interior. Surface shows concentric growth lines and fine polishing/turning marks. Rim is thin and appears evenly finished.

JONATHAN ADLER CERAMIC BOWL WITH BLACK & WHITE APPLIED STRIPES | Jonathan Adler asymmetrical flared ceramic bowl with a narrow foot and slightly irregular oval rim, marked on the bottom. Exterior is matte brown with alternating raised vertical slip lines in black and white encircling the form. Interior is finished in a glossy deep brown glaze. Rim is turned showing the raw brown body beneath the glaze.
MID-CENTURY MODULAR TEAK WALL UNIT WITH FLOATING CABINETS & SHELVES | Mid-century modular wall-mounted teak storage system composed of upper floating cabinets and open shelving above lower floating drawer and cupboard modules. TROH MID-CENTURY MODERN TEAK TILE-TOP COFFEE TABLE, STAMPED MADE IN DENMARK | Rectangular mid-century modern coffee table with a solid teak frame and rounded legs, top inset with a grid of glazed ceramic tiles featuring an abstract concentric/organic motif in gray, brown and pale blue. Corners show routed/rounded edges with visible keyed joinery at the frame corners. Underside is stamped "TROH MADE IN DENMARK 82." Construction appears to be solid-wood with an inset tile panel integrated into the top.

MID-CENTURY MODERN ENAMELED COPPER TRINKET BOX | Square hinged trinket box constructed in copper with a polychrome enameled lid depicting an abstract geometric composition in turquoise, pink, orange and black. The enamel field is set within a textured, radiating border and separated by raised metal outlines. The box body is a low rectangular form with a flat hinged lid that opens to a single compartment. Surfaces show darkened metal patina and varied enamel coloration.

VINTAGE INDIAN-STYLE BATIK ON COTTON, FIGURAL PANEL | Large batik wax-resist artwork on cotton textile depicting a reclining male figure and a seated female beneath a flowering tree with a full moon set against a deep maroon field. The composition employs a crackle-resist pattern throughout with areas of cream, yellow, red and black pigments. Presented mounted and framed in a narrow gold and black lacquer frame. INDIAN WHITE MARBLE PIETRA DURA INLAY PLATE WITH FLORAL MOTIF | White marble circular decorative plate with carved scalloped and pierced openwork rim and pierced lattice panels. Central circular pietra dura floral motif set with multi-colored semi-precious stone inlays including green, blue, orange and mother-of-pearl elements. INDIAN BONE-INLAY ROUND SIDE TABLE WITH ELEPHANT-HEAD LEGS | Round wooden side table decorated with dense pale bone inlay forming a central radiating floral medallion and a repeating foliate border across the top. Three cabriole legs are carved with stylized elephant-head motifs and carry additional bone inlay and round terminal inlays. The rim and apron display small diamond inlay and banding. The underside is fitted with a cross brace and slotted-screw fastenings at each leg junction.

INDIAN ENGRAVED SILVER BOWL, MARKED SILVER | Hand-engraved silver bowl decorated overall with a chased foliate pattern and stippled ground, bordered by Greek-key and bead bands at the rim. Interior shows radiating fluting around the base and continued chased foliate ornament. Circular foot with impressed mark reading "SILVER" on the underside (not tested for silver content); weight 11.46 ozt.

INDIAN ENGRAVED SILVER BOWL, MARKED SILVER | Set of five cylindrical sterling silver cups with plain bodies, beaded circular bases and gilt-finished interiors. Bases are each stamped with maker's mark and "ST. SILVER" as shown in the images. Each cup appears to be formed with a soldered foot ring featuring a beaded edge. Design is unembellished aside from the beaded base and narrow banding at the rim and base; all together 18.89 ozt

INDIAN REPOUSSE STERLING SILVER VASE | Small bulbous vase with flared, scalloped trumpet neck and applied repoussé floral and foliate decoration around the lower body. Base stamped "STERLING SILVER" (or "starling" — the mark partially obscured) and retains a paper retail label. Surface shows darker oxidation in recessed areas consistent with aged silver; construction appears formed and chased with a distinct join at the neck; 3.7 ozt

INDIAN SILVER FILIGREE TRIPOD DISH WITH LIDDED SPICE CUP | Three shallow petal-shaped dishes executed in coiled-wire filigree join to a fluted central stem supporting a lotus-petal collar and a hinged spherical lidded cup. The hinged lid is set with a small red stone in the finial and the filigree surfaces are composed of concentric coiled-wire rosettes and scroll panels. The underside shows three small feet and visible solder joints; the interior of the cup is plain. No visible hallmarks or maker's marks, silver / metal untested; 4.25 ozt

(5pc) KASHMIRI LACQUERED PAPIER-MÂCHÉ CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS | Group of five South Asian hand-painted lacquered papier-mâché ornaments comprising four bell-shaped forms and one spherical ornament. Each piece is decorated with polychrome floral motifs and gold gilt outlining over a high-gloss black ground. Bells retain small metal clappers and have braided hanging cords with tassels; interiors are painted black. Surfaces show layered brushwork consistent with traditional lacquered papier-mâché techniques.

BILLIE FARMER CORDER (AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY) WATERCOLOR | Watercolor on paper depicting a loose bouquet of wildflowers in a rounded vase, rendered in muted greens, ochres, purples and orange accents. Signed lower right with an ink signature reading "B Corder." Framed behind a light-blue mat and housed in a silver-toned metal frame. Verso bears a gallery label reading "Spring in a Blue Vase" and a biographical note for Billie Farmer Corder.

(4pc) VINTAGE HAND-BLOWN ART GLASS PIECES INCLUDING A MILLEFIORI PAPERWEIGHT | A group of four vintage hand-blown glass objects: including a flared multicolored bowl with orange, yellow and blue mottled color inclusions and a polished pontil; a shallow peach-tinted clear bowl with a circular sandblasted impressed mark on the underside "MURANO"; a small cylindrical clear vessel with a thick amber foot; and a spherical millefiori paperweight with a red outer cane. The multicolored bowl displays dense applied color splashes and a concave base with aqua clouding at the pontil. The set exhibits characteristics of Venetian/Murano mouth-blown techniques, including freeform color inclusions and cane millefiori work.

ALFANO DARDARI (1924-1988) TROMPE L'OIEL OIL ON BOARD | Still life oil painting on board depicting a blue teacup and saucer, a smoking cigarette on a wooden shelf, a suspended red pencil and a postage-stamp motif on a brown ground. Signed lower right in red "Alfano Dardari" and dated "66." Unframed with visible edge wear and small losses at the lower corners; reverse bears a partially legible stamped label. Works shows finely rendered highlights and crisp, graphic brushwork in a limited palette.

DOMINO MØBLER (DENMARK) TEAK MID-CENTURY MODERN SQUARE SIDE TABLE | Mobler teak square side table with a recessed flat top bordered by a raised rim; supported by four round cylindrical legs that project slightly above the top surface. Underside bears a woven label reading "domino / DOMINO MØBLER / FURNITURE • MADE IN DENMARK." Metal corner brackets are visible on the underside where the legs join the apron. Warm medium teak tone with visible straight grain on the top and legs.

MID-CENTURY MODERN WALNUT MODULAR WALL SHELVING UNIT WITH RATTAN DOORS & DROP-FRONT DESK | Wall-mounted mid-century modern modular shelving system in a dark walnut stain composed of vertical wall standards, adjustable shelves, and multiple cabinet modules. Features include a reeded/tambour sliding door cabinet, two-drawer horizontal cabinet, three-drawer lower cabinet, woven rattan-front double doors, a drop-front desk with metal support arms, and a glass/acrylic-front bookcase shelf. Drawer fronts have recessed finger pulls and cabinets appear configured for flexible arrangement on the vertical rails. Constructed primarily of stained hardwood with woven cane panels and metal support hardware.

WOODEN SLIDE-OUT CHESS SET WITH VELVET-LINED STORAGE & WOODEN PIECES | Mid-century style square wooden chessboard set with dovetailed box frame and matte olive-toned veneer alternating with black squares. Slide-out top reveals an interior lined in black velvet containing felt drawstring pouches and a set of turned wooden chess pieces plus an instruction sheet. Frame shows exposed dovetail joinery at the corners and a recessed playing surface. Pieces appear to be untreated turned wood with felt bases stored in cloth pouches.

(7pc) ROCOCO-STYLE MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS | Set of seven mahogany dining chairs in Rococo/Queen Anne revival form comprising two captain/armchairs and five side chairs. Each chair has a carved shell crest rail, pierced interlaced splat, serpentine crest and shaped back, cabriole front legs terminating in pad feet, and upholstered striped seats. The armchairs with scrolled arms matching the chair frames.
