In no event shall they be liable for the accuracy of, or be deemed to have made, any representations regarding the description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the items, and no statement made at the sale, in the bill of sale, or elsewhere regarding the items.

25% If the buyer returns an item for a cause other than Private NY Collection LLC's misrepresentation, a restocking fee is charged.
New Jersey Sales Tax: Unless a valid NJ State sales tax exemption certificate is presented before the sale, residents of New Jersey are liable to an NJ State Sales Tax rate of 6.625%. The premium paid by the buyer will also be subject to the rate.
No Buyer's Premium
Buyer's Premium: If a buyer's premium is not indicated on the auction, 0% of the winning bid amount will be added to the price of each lot.

Returns and exchanges are not accepted. Each lot is offered for sale "as is," "where is," with any faults, flaws, omissions, and errors contained in the written description, estimates, appraisals, graphics, and photographs.

Return Policy: Private NY Collection LLC reserves the right to accept returns at its sole discretion and only with prior written authorization.
In the event that you are unhappy with the product you purchase and feel it does not match the description. You have ten days to send us a document from an expert saying that the item does not match the description, which must be dated and signed. The consignor will be shown the paper once we receive it so they can request their money back. Once we receive the payment, you must send the items back in their original packaging and condition before we will refund your money.
No later than three days after receiving the lot, you must submit a written request thoroughly outlining the reason(s) for the return. Any monies other than the winning bid amount will never be reimbursed.
Any authorized returns must be received in exactly the same condition as when they were first delivered to the buyer; otherwise, they will be sent back at the buyer's expense. Returns that are not allowed will be rejected.
Items supplied by Private NY Collection LLC to the winning bidder who refuses delivery are being returned illegally and in violation of these general terms and conditions. If a purchased lot cannot be delivered in the same condition as when it was sold for whatever reason, or if any purchased item is lost before delivery, stolen, or delivered incorrectly. Any sum over what the buyer has paid will not subject Private NY Collection LLC to liability.
