Undersides with red six-character mark that translates to “Made during the Tongzhi reign of the Great Qing Dynasty”, The Tongzhi Emperor reigned from 1861 to 1875. Each painted with architectural landscapes in green over white porcelain, on wood stand. In good working order, (no shades).

Woven in a pattern similar to a Persian rug. The center medallion on black ground, no fringe; verso shows four patent numbers woven into the back at both ends, “Patent Nos. 813130, 813131, 813132, 855153”. These patent numbers date to 1905 and 1906 and indicate pattern of warp and weft.
