Caring Transitions Of Parsippany
Description & Details
This West Orange estate offers a glimpse into the life of a Romanian-American family whose story spanned continents, cultures, and generations. After serving as a Romanian military officer and diplomat, the family patriarch eventually made his way to the United States, where the family built a life in New Jersey while maintaining deep ties to Europe.
Over the years, the home became filled with objects that reflected both their travels and their curiosity — from vintage books and collectibles to decorative pieces gathered over decades. Time spent living in Rome during the late 1960s and early 1970s sparked a love of collecting and a lasting appreciation for art, design, and European craftsmanship.
The collection also carries an artistic connection through works and items associated with noted painter Dimitri Berea (1908–1975), adding another layer to the story behind the home and its contents.
Today, the estate brings together a wide range of vintage finds — from mid-century furniture and nostalgic collectibles to decorative pieces and Americana — each one a small part of a life well lived and a home filled with memories.
