Our client spent years nurturing creativity at the renowned Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles (formerly Otis–Parsons), before bringing her artistic vision to the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. Her eye for design is nothing short of inspiring — refined, playful, and deeply attuned to beauty. Her collection reflects that journey, featuring Hollywood-era high fashion, fine art by IAIA students, a life-size sculpture by Samuel Morrell, and exquisite Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Her late husband added his own layer of brilliance. Educated at Cornell and Columbia, he began as a professor of British literature and became a respected scholar of detective fiction and Jewish American writers. His passion for storytelling — especially the mysterious and the unexpected — comes through in their fascinating “rogue’s gallery” of 18th-century London murderers. And beyond the books, their vast library and LP collection reveal a curious, eclectic mind with a love for discovery.

Together, their collection is a vibrant reflection of two creative spirits — one rooted in art and design, the other in literature and history. We’re honored to share their world with you at our upcoming event!
