ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Maadson does not accept any returns, exchanges, or offer refunds for any items purchased at our auctions. There will be no sale rescissions or refunds made on the basis of condition or any other reason. NO EXCEPTIONS.

ORDER CANCELLATION
Maadson / France and Son reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason.

CONDITION STATEMENT

It is the buyer's sole responsibility to be knowledgeable about the condition of the property before bidding. This is a live auction, and prospective buyers are strongly advised to inspect the items using the images online. Previewing will not be allowed during the active auction. As a courtesy, Maadson / France and Son may make condition reports available prior to the auction if specifically requested by the bidder.

ALL LOTS ARE SOLD "AS IS". No statement regarding condition, kind, value, or quality of a lot, whether made orally at the auction or at any other time, or in writing in this catalog or elsewhere, shall be construed to be an express or implied warranty, representation, or assumption of liability by Maadson / France and Son. Any such warranty is expressly WAIVED by the bidder. Please note that the absence of a condition report does not imply that there are no condition issues with the lot. Please contact us for a detailed condition report prior to the auction if you require one.

Damage, Defect, or Missing Items (Limited Scope)
While ALL SALES ARE FINAL and no refunds or returns are offered, if an item arrives with significant, unstated damage or defect, or if items are missing, and such issues were not reasonably discoverable during pre-auction inspection, you must report it to us within 2 business days of receipt (3 days for small parcel deliveries). This is for internal assessment and potential carrier claims only, and does not imply a right to return or refund.

Claim Requirements (strictly for internal assessment and potential carrier claims):

Contact us within 2 business days of delivery.

Provide clear images of both the product as well as the box and packaging.

Note the issue(s) on the delivery paperwork. If you sign for a signature-required delivery without reporting the damage or defect, your claim will be denied.

Claims will not be accepted if the above conditions aren't met.

COLOR AND IMPERFECTION DISCLAIMER

Every computer monitor displays color differently, so we cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen. Additionally, the colors, tones, and textures may vary slightly from piece to piece based on dye lots, natural material variation, and the handmade nature of many products. Minor imperfections and variance are considered normal for most products. Maadson / France and Son assumes no liability for such variance absent a manufacturer-verified defect.

COMMERCIAL USE

Products are not rated for commercial use unless specifically stated in the lot description, and such use may void any implied warranties or claims.


ORDER CANCELLATION

Once an order is placed and confirmed through the auction process, it is immediately processed for payment and item collection. Therefore, we cannot offer any cancellations. Please note that confirmed auction purchases are not eligible for cancellation.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event that a product is mistakenly listed or sold at an incorrect price, or a discount code is applied incorrectly, Maadson / France and Son reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

The auctioneer (Maadson / France and Son), at its discretion, reserves the right to refuse participation in this auction by any bidder, whether on-premises, participating online, by telephone, or through absentee bid. Maadson / France and Son reserves the right not to accept bids via internet bidding for lots of high value.

TAX POLICY

If located in New York, the sales tax is 8.625%, unless the purchaser has a valid resale certificate. A link to the resale certificate can be provided upon request.
