Conditions of Sale

There will be a 15% Buyers Premium added to all winning bids on invoice. All bids submitted can and may be regarded as the purchase price per lot, if such bid is the highest received.

Accordingly, your bid constitutes a legally binding agreement to purchase the lot in accordance with your bid, and as accepted by auctioneer. At time of bid close, item becomes the full responsibility of Bidder, and Bidder assumes title to lot items, including all risk of loss or damage to items.

By bidding, you agree to assume personal responsibility to pay the purchase price bid plus Buyer's Premium, in addition to any obligations, costs, or expenses related to item handling, shipping, insurance, taxes, export fees, or other financial or liability responsibilities. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NY State residents will be automatically charged 8% sales tax upon invoice, unless a valid tax-exempt number is filed with Live Auctioneers.

Payment

Payment may be made by cash or known buyer check for in-person pick-ups ONLY. Credit cards and (ACH) payments are also accepted through Live Payments. Buyer will be charged credit card or Live Payment transaction fees upon invoicing. Wire Transfers are also accepted, please contact for details.

Payments will be generally processed through Live Payments Autopay. If payment is not made within seventy-two (72) hours of invoicing, your card on file will automatically be charged. Wire transfer will be the required form of payment for invoices totaling $3,000 or more.

Sales tax (NY, 8%) will be charged on all invoices, unless valid resale certificate is filed with our office prior to auction close.

Shipping / Local Pick-Up

In-house shipping MAY be available for shipment of small, non-fragile items. We do not offer in-house shipping for framed art, furniture, lighting, or large groupings of fragile items. Live Shipping is available for all lots, and shipping is also available through our local shipping partner. Please reach out with shipping inquiries, and we will help you arrange the best possible options.

Shipping insurance recommended for all lots but REQUIRED for packages valued at $500 or more. Buyers may opt out of shipping insurance (for shipments valued under $500) at their own risk. Signature confirmation will be required for shipments valued at $1,000 or greater / precious metal shipments.

If you wish to work with an alternate local (Ithaca, NY) shipping service, please contact us and share your preferences. If you have specific shipping questions / are interested in receiving a shipping quote, please contact us up to 24 hours prior to sale.

LOCAL PICK UP is available at our office within Found in Ithaca / SouthWorks (at 620 South Aurora Street, Ithaca, NY 14850) on Wednesday June 24th and Friday June 26th from 12pm-4pm OR BY APPOINTMENT. Please contact in advance to arrange a pick-up time outside of our provided pick-up times.

Items not picked up or without adequate shipping arrangements made within fourteen (14) days of sale, will be considered abandoned and re-sold. Non-paying bidders will be prohibited from future sales with Grace Auction & Estate Gallery, and appropriate feedback will be shared through the Live Auctioneers platform.

Auction Preview

Preview for all lots included in sale is available online at www.liveauctioneers.com. In-person preview is also offered at our office within Found in Ithaca / SouthWorks on Fridays 6/12 and 6/19 from 12pm-4pm or BY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT up to twenty-four (24) hours previous to sale. Video conference previews available as well, by appointment. Questions and requests for additional photos are welcomed, up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to sale start.

Condition Statement

It is the buyer's responsibility to be knowledgeable about the condition of lot properties, before bidding. We offer in-person preview (at scheduled times or by appointment only), as well as video conference preview, and online preview at www.liveauctioneers.com. As a courtesy, Grace Auction & Estate Gallery makes condition reports available through each lot listing and offers multiple photos of each lot. All lots are sold "AS-IS" and "WHERE-IS." No statements regarding condition, value, identification, quality of a lot, whether made in writing within this catalogue or elsewhere, orally, or at any other time, shall be construed as an express or implied warranty, assumption of liability, representation, or guarantee. Agreeing to bid is an agreement to WAIVE any such warranties or guarantees. With that said, we endeavor to be as accurate as possible in property description, and enjoy creating a satisfactory experience for our clients, both buyers and sellers. Questions or requests for more detailed condition reports are welcomed in advance of auction close, along with requests for additional photos / videos, up to twenty-four (24) hours previous to sale start.
