4-Day Video Game & Collectibles Estate Sale

This is a truly rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shop two lifelong collections rooted in the world of video games along with collectibles, vintage and modern clothing, comic books, sneakers, art, memorobilia, electronics, and more. I’m emptying out my entire personal collection from storage ahead of a move, and I’m also helping a close friend who owned 8 Bit & Up Video Games (formerly on 86 East 3rd Street in Manhattan) sell what he held onto when he closed his storefront. Between the two of us, this is decades of collecting finally being opened to the public.

There will be far more available than what’s shown in the photos — I’m still actively pulling items out of storage and setting everything up. If you collect, resell, archive, or simply love nostalgia, this is one you do not want to miss.

Expect hundreds of games across platforms including PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One — plus boxed and loose consoles, sealed titles, loose classics, complete-in-box games, manuals, inserts, accessories, controllers, cables, and more. Additional highlights include Sega CD, Sega Game Gear, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS.

Console inventory includes a mix of new and sealed, used and complete-in-box systems such as N64, Sega consoles, silver and black GameCubes, Wii U, and PS2; brand new in box systems including Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS; as well as loose, fully working consoles like Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Slim, Wii, dreamcast, Wii u, purple, black and silver GameCubes. 

On the apparel side, expect a strong mix of vintage and designer pieces including brands like Eric Emanuel, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Adidas, vintage band tees, sneakers, and rare collectibles. There truly will be something for everyone at every price point.

To keep things organized and ensure everyone has a calm, enjoyable experience, I’ll come outside at 8:30am each day with a sign-up sheet. A limited number of shoppers will be allowed in at a time; as one person leaves, another will enter. People can leave their numbers on the sheet if they want to wait in the car.

***If you arrive early, you may only sign up for yourself (no holding spots). Because of the volume of inventory and limited space, we’re intentionally keeping it controlled.

Important: Photos 1–48 reflect my personal collection, available Thursday through Sunday (first come, first serve). Photos 49 - the last photo reflect the 8 Bit & Up inventory, which will be available Saturday and Sunday only (first come, first serve). We’re staggering the release because there is simply too much for the space.

Everything is priced fairly and to sell. We know what we have — but the goal is to move these collections out of storage and into the hands of people who will actually enjoy them.
