1. Registration & Eligibility

All bidding is conducted exclusively online. Bidders must complete online registration and provide valid identifying and payment information prior to bidding. Vintage Auctions reserves the right to deny or revoke bidding privileges at its sole discretion.

2. Auction Format; Reserves

All auctions are conducted in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code (U.C.C.). Unless expressly stated as ?Absolute,? all auctions are with reserve. The Auctioneer may accept bids on behalf of the seller or an agent of the seller during reserve auctions.

3. Buyer?s Premium

A 17.5% Buyer?s Premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot and is payable by the Buyer as part of the total purchase price.

4. As-Is, Where-Is; No Warranties

All items are sold ?AS IS,? ?WHERE IS,? with no guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, authenticity, condition, age, grade, or provenance.

It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to determine the condition, value, authenticity, and suitability of any item prior to bidding. Descriptions and photographs are provided for convenience only and may be supplied by the consignor. Errors or omissions do not constitute grounds for cancellation or adjustment.

5. Authenticity & Condition

Vintage Auctions does not guarantee grading of any item. Grading is subjective and based on individual opinion. The Bidder is the sole judge of condition and value. Once a bid is placed, it may not be retracted.

6. Bidding; Pre-Bids; Disputes

This is an online-only auction with the option to place pre-bids. Bidders are responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on and for monitoring their bids.

In the event of a disputed or contested bid, the Auctioneer reserves the right to reopen bidding between the last two bidders or take any action deemed appropriate. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid, determine bidding increments, and resolve all disputes in the best interest of the seller.

All announcements or updates made online or at the time of sale take precedence over prior printed or posted material.

7. Technology Issues; System Failures

The Auctioneer makes reasonable efforts to ensure the proper functioning of all online platforms, bidding systems, and related technologies. However, the Auctioneer shall not be responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, failures, or malfunctions of any bidding platform, internet service, software, hardware, or other technology, whether within or beyond the Auctioneer?s control.

If a technology issue or system failure, in the Auctioneer?s sole discretion, affects the integrity of bidding, sale processing, invoicing, or the fair conduct of the auction, the Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw, pass, reopen, reoffer, or declare unsold any lot, or to remove any lot from an invoice, at any time before or after the close of bidding. No sale is final until invoicing is complete and payment is received.

The Auctioneer?s determination regarding technology issues and remedies shall be final and binding. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from such actions.

8. Final Sale; No Cancellations

All sales are final. Once a Bidder wins an item, a binding contract is formed, and full payment is required in accordance with these Terms.

9. Returns

Returns are approved solely at the discretion of Vintage Auctions. Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Buyers must notify Vintage Auctions of any shipping damage within five (5) days of delivery. No return or refund requests will be accepted after that period.

Description & Details

Welcome to an extraordinary Coin & Currency Auction unlike any other. This is more than a sale. It is a celebration of craftsmanship, legacy, and the enduring power of money to shape civilizations. From the ringing strike of ancient silver to the intricate artistry of masterfully engraved banknotes, each lot in this remarkable offering carries with it a journey across time.
Discover coins that once passed through the hands of merchants, monarchs, and pioneers — pieces that witnessed revolutions, funded expeditions, and marked the rise and fall of empires.
The currency selection is equally captivating. Experience the delicate beauty of historic banknotes, from large-size classics adorned with intricate vignettes to rare national issues and scarce error notes that defy expectation. Each bill tells a story — of economic triumph, wartime necessity, artistic innovation, and cultural evolution. Vibrant inks, ornate borders, and master engravings transform these notes into portable works of art.
For seasoned numismatists, investors seeking tangible assets, and newcomers drawn to the thrill of discovery, this auction offers opportunity and excitement in equal measure. Every lot has been thoughtfully curated for quality, rarity, and eye appeal. Exceptional provenance, certified highlights, and fresh-to-market pieces make this event one not to be missed.
