Description & Details

This auction is full of antiques, collectibles, crystal stemware, grandfather clocks, luxury cowboy boots, collectibles, paintings, washer and dryer, household goods, yard ornaments, vehicles, and so much more.

Mahogany, Walnut, Chippendale, Minton, Limoges, Crooksville, Haviland, Wright Tindale and Van Roden, Johnson Brothers, Noritake, Lucchese, and Howard Miller.

Many of the antiques in this auction came from the Estate of Frank Otis (1888-1962), Mahogany Trader from New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Otis succeeded his father, Henry Otis, as the President of the New Orleans-based Otis Manufacturing Company, one of the oldest and largest importers of Mexican, South, and Central American woods. Much of the mahogany furniture and beautiful dishes belonged to Mr. Otis who bequeathed the items to Pearl and Lyle Goldate, the Great Aunt and Uncle of Melissa Gooszen, who continued to pass the items down to their heirs. The Otis House at Fairview-Riverside State Park, originally built in the 1880s, served as Mr. Otis's summer home until his death in 1962 and housed many of these items. Today, it is a state park.

Preview Day: Monday, September 8th from 3pm to 5pm.
