If you make a purchase of gold or silver for more than $500.00, the auction house may require payment be made by certified funds, money order, or wire transfer.

Purchase of item does NOT include shipping.

1) PAYMENT TERMS.

Invoices that are larger than $1,000.00 may be required to send payment through wire transfer or bank check, and you may be required to provide additional buyer identification: Any Invoice over $1,000.00 required to send payment through wire transfer or bank check. License, credit card, and or photo id must be provided, address on your license, credit card and shipping must all match! Auctioneer reserves the right to require wire transfer for ANY purchase for ANY reason.

2) PICKUP: Won Items can be picked up by appointment only at 1801 Union Blvd, Ste 105, Allentown.

SCHEDULE: You will receive a link to schedule your pickup via Shippingsaint.com, sign up for a time slot to pick up your won items or to have them shipped. If you require a different pick-up time than what is offered, please contact us at 215-444-5353.

When in doubt call before bidding! If items are bid on and you did not read the terms and conditions and do not pick up the items within a week of the closing of the sale, your item(s) may be RESOLD, and the proceeds will be kept as storage fees.

3) SHIPPING: Most items can be shipped for an additional handling fee and postage fee. We offer Live Shipping and also offer in-house shipping. In-house shipping commences after local pick-ups are completed. Please select shipping from the Shippingsaint.com link to be put into the queue. You will be sent an email quote for your shipping charges. Depending on your settings, these emails may got into your spam folder. Please note that we are unable to ship large pieces, such as furniture, but we are happy to offer recommendations for shippers.
If you fail to pay for the shipping of the item, you agree by accepting our terms and conditions that you consent to your items being resold at a commission of 35% plus lotting fee.

4) Items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition and usefulness of the items purchased. We attempt to be accurate and describe all items to the best of our knowledge. Many times we rely on information from the consigner. If you have any questions regarding an item in this auction, please call or email us.

Authenticity: Though all descriptions are believed to be correct, neither auction house nor seller make any warranties of any kind with respect to any item in this auction. In no event shall an auction house or seller be held responsible for implying any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source origin, fitness for a particular purpose, condition, etc. All weights and measurements are approximate.

5) All sales are final! There are no returns or right of refusal! All bids will be considered a binding agreement by PA law. In case of technical difficulties, the auctioneer has the right to postpone and or extend the auction to another date and or time.

All PA residents are subject to the Pennsylvania 6 % sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a sales tax exemption number and fills out the Pennsylvania Exempt Certificate. Exemption numbers from other states are accepted in PA if presented with a business card or letterhead. Dealers, museums, and other qualifying parties can apply for a Pennsylvania exemption number prior to the auction by contacting the Pennsylvania Department of State

6) Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed upon by the consignor and Searchlight Auction Company below which the lot will not be sold. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed. A representative of Searchlight Auction Company will execute such reserves by bidding for the consignor. In any event and whether or not a lot is subject to a reserve, the auctioneer may reject any bid not commensurate with the value of such lot.

Except as provided in paragraph above, the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or re-offer the lot for sale.

7) Successful bidders will have a buyers premium equal to 24% of the final bid price.

8) These conditions of sale shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The buyer/bidder agrees that any suit for the enforcement of this agreement may be brought, and any action against Searchlight Auction Company in connection with the transactions contemplated by this agreement shall be brought, in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any federal court sitting therein. The bidder/buyer consents to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waives objections that it may now or hereafter have to the venue of any such suit.
