Slatington Estate Featuring a Rare Scopiton

This sale offers a wide range of vintage radios and radio tubes. The owners father had once owned a TV repair shop lots of interesting items to be found.

An extremely rare Scopitone with only 1000 to 1500 ever manufactured. They believe 500 to 1000 were sent to the Us but that number could be significantly lower than originally thought. The exact number of surviving Scopitones is unknown, but it is estimated to be in the low hundreds, and likely far less than 1,000, as most machines and films were discarded after the fad ended. A 2015 report noted that only one original working machine was on public display at the Museum of Modern Art. The one for sale as an estimated 33 films.
